It's really the little things that make a difference. It's either a friend not answering their door when you go to drop stuff off, or it's your first year English prof saying that she misses you and wants you to take another of her courses, then offering to save you a spot. Too bad they hadn't happened in that order. Might have improved my day some.
As of lunch today, I'm through even trying for the sake of appearances trying to make things look normal. Things are anything but normal between Ben and I, and I'm tired of everyone asking me what's wrong and having to lie about it to protect him. Let him dodge a few bullets and see how he likes it. Although I will admit, it's strange not talking to him; I got so used to it over the summer. But he can come to me from now on; I'm not going to come look for his time ant more, because it's always me going to him.
At least papers are starting to come back, and so far, so good. Mind you, that was only one of three. But, it was better than I was beginning to think it was.
