My insane writings.
Chap 13.

Blackness. It was the only thing around me. The only thing I could see.
"Welcome back." Weston said to me.
"Where am I?" I asked.
"In some place between life, and the after life. What this places represents, I don't know."
"And why are you here?"
"Because I refuse to die. Aster may have absorbed me, but he didn't take my soul. It is my own."
"Right."
"Tell me, what did you do to arrive here?"
"I died. But I let the wolf take over. I chose to die, instead of dying in battle like I want. Because my soul isn't ready to go, I guess i'm here."
"Right." Then, a screeching started. Weston and I went back to back, and drew our weapons.

After hours, or minutes of killing the spirits, I was down to the last clip in my SCAR. As soon as the last round left the chamber, it disintegrated like my M1014. I drew My third revolver, the one I plan to take my own life with. With only a single bullet in the chamber, it was all I had. I brought no more ammo for my revolvers other than the shot I killed the Prince with, and only had one round in Mops USP .45, that was already spent. The last apparition can, and I fired. Then, I felt a wave of darkness start surging. Things around me were losing blackness, and turning into gray.
"Weston, what's happening?"
"I do not know, but my time here is up." He was gone. I was alone, with a wave of anger surging towards me. Then, it hit. Smoke? No. Water.

*Splash* I hit something soft, and grainy. It was sand. I stood up. I was on a beach. How did I get here? All I could hear was the waves.
"Where the hell are we supposed to go?"
"I dunno. He said we'd know when we find it." Voice. My hearing was too muffled to tell what the voices sounded like. I just heard words. I reached for my weapons, but all I could find were the revolvers. I drew them, and walked up. Still blindfolded, with my Biotics locked down.
"Stop. My name is Alexander Adamska, callsign Little Blin-"
"ALEXEI!! OH MY GOD!" I was tackled to the ground.
"What? Danni? Where am I?"
"You're on the beach that you told us to follow." I heard another voice say. I think it was Alex. Then, the blindfold was removed.
"I need my glasses. Ugh." I reached around, felt in my pockets, and found nothing.
"Can you at least see well enough to walk?" Alex said. I could hear clearly now.
"Yeah. I think. Danni, can you kindly get off of me."
"Oh right. Sorry." She blushed a little, an I quickly hugged her before standing up.
"So, what happened?" I asked.
"Long story short, you exploded, destroyed the Capitol Building, and then arrived here." Jeremy said.
"So, nothing but the Capitol building?"
"Yeah."
"Well, I got somewhere I need to go. I have to check something out."
"Alright."
"My Biotics are locked down, so, Jeremy, can you teleport me to the maintenance tunnels?"
"Sure." In a flash, I was there. I walked my way down the tunnels, and kept hearing sounds. Shuffling, and breathing. Eventually, I just stopped.
"Alright, come out. I know you're there." She stepped out.
"Danni, why are you stalking me?"
"I wanted to make sure you're alright."
"I'm fine. If you really wanna see why I came here, follow me." We walked the rest of the way, and found the doors I forced open. They were ripped to shreds. I stepped in, and the reek of blood filled the air. Bodies, everywhere.
"Oh...Oh my God." She turned to the side, and puked.
"Hmph. I've seen worse. Smelt worse."
"Shut up. Ugh. This is just...Oh God." She puked again. I took off my hoodie, and handed it to her.
"Here. Wrap it around your mouth, like a gas mask. If you puke in it, ah well. It can get cleaned." She did as I said, and we continued. I knew where they were. Eventually, we got there.
"Oh...oh my God..." There were my parents. Dead, with a perfect mass of bodies around them. They looked so...peaceful. I walked over, took both of their dog tags, put them on my own set, took my my moms scarf, and my dads locket.
"...I knew they weren't gonna make it. Too many. Even for them." I saluted, then turned to Danni and grabbed her. She moved close to me, and I broke down. There I stood, in a parking lot full of dead bodies, crying on her shoulder over the loss of my parents. She held me, and I eventually stopped crying and came to terms with their deaths. We started back. I tied the scarf around my neck, took the locket off the chain, and put it on my chain with my tags, their tags, and the tags of M.F.U.. I collect the tags of my fallen comrades. As a token of remembrance.
"I think I can try teleporting us back."
"Alright. Go for it." She tried, and we landed a few feet from the camp the team had made.
"Well? How are mom and dad?" Jeremy asked. He's not even a blood brother, but he's damn close enough. I just pulled off my dog tag's and threw them to him. He looked at them solemnly, saluted, and threw them back.
"I'm...i'm sorry."
"It's fine. I've done my mourning. All I want to do now is sleep." I layed down in the circle we had made, pulled Elizabeth's back pack from her and used it as a pillow, and then Danni layed next to me, for comfort. In just a few minutes, I was asleep.
