A Vocaloid Demons VS. Angels story.
Chapter 1 "Welcome, Hatsune Miku." A human stood before the green haired girl. "Who... Are you?" she asked in the lovely high voice. "Your master." he introduced. "You are now officially part of the Angel project." he announced. Miku looked behind master. There were three other people. Two adults, one lady with short brown hair, and a man with blue. A young teen girl joined them. She had short blonde hair, her bangs held up with white clips and a white head bow. The man spoke first. "I'm Shion Kaito." "I'm Meiko" they lady introduced. "I'm Kagamine Rin" the teen said. Miku nodded. "So why was I created?" she asked Master. "To help us fend off darkness, or the Demons" "Who are they?" Demons? She had heard of that, but not known the meaning. "My creations..." Master sighed. "But" Miku added. "If they are your creations, how are they bad?" "They are my failed experiments. Most just break down, but recently..." "They started turning against him." Meiko concluded. Miku stood up off the bed. "But now that the forces are strong enough" Master explained. "you will be leaving here tonight to a new location" "Oh" Miku sighed. "Meiko and Kaito will be looking after you and Rin" "Meiko," Master added. "Help her find her strength" Meiko nodded.
7:00 PM
"We'll keep in touch" Kaito said goodbye to Master. Miku and Rin were waiting in the back of the van. He strapped himself in and they drove off. "Miku" Miku looked at Rin. "You know what Karaoke is, right?" she asked. "Oh, yes! It sounds very fun!" she clapped her hands together. "But I wouldn't say I would be good at it..." she sighed. "Wow" Rin looked at her. "You are painfully good natured..." Miku blinked. "I am simply being modest..." "It's okay, I was just saying." Rin giggled. They arrived at a big building with the "Karaoke" sign in the front. Meiko and Kaito got them all a room and they ordered pizza. "Kaito, you go first!" "Okay, okay..." Just then, Miku could here music playing down the hall. Not Karaoke music, more like club music... "What is that?" she asked. Rin and Meiko looked at each other. "Not here, too!" Rin exclaimed. "What?" They ignored Miku. "Can we go see what it is?" "No!" Meiko gasped. "Please? Can we just peek through the door? I have to learn what everything is." Meiko looked at Kaito. "Well... Okay... But be EXTREMELY careful. Don't go in, only at the door." she warned. "Thank you!" Everyone got up and walked down the hall to some black double doors. Miku poked her head through. It was a concert, and a boy was performing on stage. She slid through to the other side to let the others in. "I knew it." Rin clenched her fist. "He's here." Someone grabbed Miku's arm and pulled her in. "Ahh!" "Miku!" Meiko exclaimed. The other struggled through the crowd. Miku went further and further away from them, until she was pushed on stage. The boy looked at her. She could see him clearly now. He was a wearing a black outfit, a shirt that exposed his chest and a popped up collar. He had booty shorts and two silver belts. He had messy blonde bangs that covered one eye and a short ponytail. He walked up to her, took her hand, and pulled her to the middle of the stage. (Now would be a good time to listen to Migikata no Cho by Kagamine Len) As he sang, he danced around her he looked her in the eyes. She didn't dare move. That sounded like a bad idea... As the song ended, he took her and dipped her. Miku stared up at him. The crowd cheered and left. The boy pulled her up and looked at her. "Nice performance" he stuck his tongue out and seemed to be teasing in a sort of romantic, evil way. "I'm Kagamine Len." he introduced. "Kagamine?" She repeated. "You must be related to-" "Len!" Rin called from where the crowd stood minutes before. "Never thought I'd see you here." he sighed. "Get away from her!" Meiko ordered him. He shook his head. "No can do." he objected. "The dark is getting to weak. We need new recruits, and she seems to have the perfect fit for that." He slid his hand on Miku's waist and ran his other hand on her chin. Miku started getting nervous. "Um..." she pulled her hands close to her. Len slid away and turned back to the others. "Remember what it takes to convert." he glared. Rin looked away. "A kiss" she mumbled. "And in that case." he slid both hands around Miku's waist and pulled her closer. "Um, please, I... Oh...." Miku panicked. "Stop!" Meiko withdrew a glowing white chain and whipped it towards him. Len dodged it, swung Miku around with him and pressed his lips against hers. "No!" Rin cried. They rushed towards them onto the stage. Len jumped away just in time. "Miku?" Kaito stepped towards her. The others watched nervously. She felt fine, actually- "Agh!" Miku clenched her throat and dropped to her knees in pain. The white dress she had on dissolved into a black shirt that split down the middle and a black short skirt. Black dragon-like wings replaced the white angel wings that had withdrawn themselves. She stood up. A new power surged through her. It felt so pleasing.... Nothing ever felt before. Len stepped over to her. "Welcome, fallen Angel" he grabbed her hand. "She's Pure, not Fallen!" Meiko exclaimed. "No longer." Miku uttered the words. Why? "Miku..." Rin gasped. "This new form has given me power no Angel could ever have. Miku didn't feel the same... But it felt so good! "So I'm no longer on the side of the weak" she continued. "Oh no, I'm on the side of strength and power" She looked at Len. He grinned evilly at the others, along with Miku. "I'm a Demon, now."
Chapter 2 "Wh...what?" "You heard me" Miku glared at them. Rin clenched her fist. "I'm no longer one of you-" She clenched her throat. "What is she...?" She seemed like she was in a lot of pain.... "She's not fully Fallen..." Meiko gasped. A black mist veil formed around Miku and she rose into the air. "Kiss not long enough, Len?" Rin teased. "Your a horrible kisser!!!" Kaito pointed at him. "Not my fault" Len shrugged. "Hurry! Get her!" Meiko ordered. Len and Rin looked at each other and ran after her at the same time. Rin launched the throwing knives at him to slow him down, yet he was still able to dodge that, too. Rin reached for Miku, and-
Flash
Rin opened her eyes. Miku was sprawled on the floor. Another girl was at Len's side. She looked just like Miku, yet with a black and red outfit and black pigtails. Miku sat up. "Ugh... What happened?" she groaned. Meiko ran over to her. "You okay?" she asked. Miku nodded. "Pity" the other girl said. Everyone looked at her. "A little extra power would have helped..." she sighed. "Who are you?" Rin asked. "Zatsune" she said casually. "Zatsune Miku, to be exact" she added. "New leader of the Demons" "But I hadn't approved of that yet!" Len glared at her. She looked at him with red eyes. He looked away. "Anyways, I am the other half of her" she pointed to Miku, who was now standing up. 'I'm sorry, but we have to leave early... Bye bye" Zatsune waved teasingly and disappeared. "Might wanna get ready now, Angels" Len taunted them. He too disappeared. "I can't believe them..." Miku stared at where they were standing. Rin walked over to her. "Wow, that separation really took its toll on you, didn't it?" "What to do you mean?" Miku rubbed her head. "Your personality seems... Different" Rin looked at her. "R...really?" Miku looked embarrassed. "Those jerks..." Meiko sighed. "Well," Rin withdrew her wings and her blades disappeared. "No use hanging around here. Might as well keep working on finding their hideout..." she added. "Right" Kaito nodded. "We have a serious problem, now, and we have to get working." Everyone agreed and they all left he Karaoke bar early.
MONDAY (School... >.> wink
"Miku! Get up now!" Rin's muffled voice awoke Miku early in the morning. Rin knocked on the door several times and walked downstairs. "Mng....." Miku stretched and threw on her uniform, a navy blue dress with a white stripe on the bottom, a white sailor-style shawl and a red bow tied around loosely on her neck. She grabbed her bag and headed downstairs. Rin was eating waffles and Meiko was getting ready for work. Kaito stayed home to work on how to fend from the demons. Other than his position, everyone else was practically normal. "Okay, let's go!" Meiko grabbed her keys and headed out the door, the two girls following. "I haven't been to school in two weeks... I wonder what I missed?" Rin adjusted her head bow and yawned. Meiko dropped them off at the school gate and drove off. "Gosh, it seems so different, now!" Rin gasped. "It's only been a week..." Miku nudged her. "Well..." they walked off towards their class. "I'm glad we're in the same class," Miku said, scanning the room. Her other classmates were lounging around the desks and windows chatting and even eating... "Yeah" Rin agreed. "Alright everybody, settle down!" The teacher came in and everyone separated. Miku and Rin took two desks near the back windows. "Okay, everybody. We have two new students today," Just as the teacher introduced them, the door opened. A girl with reddish pinkish curly, short pigtails stepped in followed by.... LEN?!?!?!?!?!
Chapter 3 "Everybody, this is Kasane Teto and Kagamine Len" the teacher introduced. Miku looked at Rin. Rin just continued writing something down on a folder paper... Wasn't she the least bit concerned? "Miku and Rin, you will be showing them around at lunch." "Y...yes sir..." Miku sighed nervously. Rin simply nodded. Len took a seat next to Miku, and the other girl, Teto, sat up front. Miku kept glancing at Len. He was just continuing his day, not talking to anyone, like some regular new kid. 'This is gonna suck....' Miku thought.
Lunchtime! ^_^
Miku walked in silence next to Len. Rin didn't say anything, either. Finally, Rin mumbled aloud. "The dark is foolish" "Oh well, might as well give up, huh, Teto?" Len sighed sarcastically. "Oh right~" she played along with him. "Ugh! I can't take it anymore! RIN! How can you take this so lightly?!" Miku stopped walking and looked at her. "Well," RIn began. "The demons only have power in certain areas" she explained. "So Len or Teto can't take their true forms anywhere on campus." "Oh..." Miku shrugged. "So might as well treat me normally" Len grinned. Miku glared at him. "Let's just go, please..." she sighed. As they continued to walk around campus, Len sighed. "Why so depressed?" Rin asked. Everyone stopped walking. "I just thought of how I was lied to" Len mumbled. "What do you mean?" Miku asked. "Well," he began. "When I was first created-" "UGH" Rin groaned. "You sound all old timey when you say that" Len looked at her. "What" she shrugged. "Anyways" he continued. "I have to admit, I was very fond of Master. In fact, I was promised a family when all I did was ask." He said. "But..." he sighed. "When I broke down, Master didn't care. Heck, he didn't help me, he didn't even try!" he exclaimed. "What are you talking about?!" Rin protested. "Master loved all of us, including you! You were just a prototype, then, not stable! It was bound to happen!" "If Master loved me as much as you say, why didn't he make me stable from the start?!" Rin didn't answer and looked away. "Exactly." Len calmed a bit. "We were all meant to be failures. It was out of pure luck that you were aloud to live!" he exclaimed angrily. "Sheesh, constant downer much?" Miku shrugged, "...Shut up...." Rim mumbled, close to whisper. "What?" Teto asked. "Shut up" Rin picked up her head, which was now streaming with tears. "Master loved us!" she cried. A white glowing circle formed around her on the ground. It emanated wind, forcing the others back and shaking the trees. "He loved us!" she shouted. Len backed away in shock as a ball of light formed as her hands. A beam shot out of it, hitting Len square in the chest. He was knocked off his feet and onto his back, rolling over onto his stomach. "Len!" Miku cried. Rin ran off, crying. "I'll get her." Teto said and she ran off into her direction. As Miku looked back at Len, a black cloud of shadow arose from him, and he started moving again. "Len?" She took a few steps forward. "Are you....?" she murmured. "What...." he mumbled. "What happened?" He seemed different.... "Are you okay?" she asked. Miku did notice his hair wasn't covering one eye anymore, and his eyes were also brighter, not as dull anymore. "I feel... Different" he paused, then after a few moments, he closed his eyes and sighed. "I said all that mean stuff, didn't I?" he guessed. "Uh, yeah" Miku replied. Len looked down in shame. "I didn't mean it, it was kind of my demon side taking over..." "Demon side?" she asked. Len nodded. "This sounds like some part you'd say something like 'Yeah duh' or something sarcastic... Are you sure your okay?" Miku asked him suspiciously. "I think my powers were taken away." he explained as he stood up. "Oh" she shrugged. "I think I should go apologize..." he said. Miku nodded and they ran off into the girl's direction. As they approached, Miku spotted Rin with her head down at one of the tables, Teto rubbing her back. "How is she?" Miku asked. Teto shrugged. Teto got up and Miku sat down next to her. "Hey..." MIku whispered. "Are you okay?" "Go away, Len..." she sobbed. Len stood there. "I'm sorry... I didn't mean it..." he sighed. Rin didn't answer. Teto tapped his shoulder, signaling him to go. He looked down and left with her. As they went out of ear shot, Rin picked her head up and rubbed her eyes. "Miku," she sniffled. "Do you think I'm a failure?" she asked. "Of course not!" Miku was shocked on what she just asked. "How could you think that?!" "Well Len said-" "That was his Demon side! His powers left him after you...uh... shot.... him!" she explained. "What?" she looked up at her. Miku nodded. Rin wiped away her tears and stood up. "Thanks, Miku..." she sighed.
Chapter 4 "Hope she doesn't find out and throws Kaito at him..." Miku sighed. They had to bring Len to Miku and Rin's house to let him stay there. He and Teto had nowhere to stay, but Teto had run off somewhere. But if Meiko were to find out they were keeping the "enemy" in their house...Well... but they weren't sure on how they were going to take it... Miku took a deep breath and opened the door. "Meiko?" she called. Nobody answered. The lights were off, along with the kitchen and the door was locked, and they had to open them with a key. "Coast clear, come on!" Miku whispered. She grabbed Len's arm and they tiptoed upstairs. Rin peeked in through Meiko's room. Nobody. "Come on" Miku's room was closest, so they hurried into the room and shut the door. "Phew!" Rin sighed. "At least no one's home..." Miku stood up and walked over to her closet. "Rin?" she asked. "Hm?" "Where's the blow up bed?" she asked. "I think it's in Mei-chan's closet. I'll go check" Rin sat up and walked out the door. She came back minutes later. "Her closet's locked" she sighed. "Geez, thanks alot, Kaito! Just had to go through it that one time..." Miku groaned. "So what do we do?" Len asked. Rin and Miku looked at each other. "We don't have enough blankets for him to sleep on the floor..." Miku said. Rin's eyes widened. "Your bed's bigger!" she exclaimed. "Hey!" Miku complained. "No no no no no no, I can't!" Miku said. "Why?" "Well, um... you see...I..." Miku stuttered. She sighed. "What's the problem?" Len asked, blinking innocently. Miku's faced turned red and she looked at Rin. "Pleeeease?" she asked. "Sorry, no can do!" "Mmm...." she groaned. "Look's l-l-like.." Miku sighed. "You have to s-s-sleep with me in...m-my bed..." "Oh..." Len said. "Well, then," Rin rocked back on her heels. "I have things to do, so I'll leave you two alone" she exited and closed the door slowly. "I don't have to sleep in your bed... If you don't want me to..." Len sighed. "No... It's fine..." Miku glanced at her circular bed near the window. At least it seemed big enough...
8:00 PM "I'll be right back, I have to change..." Len left to the bathroom. Meiko had texted Miku earlier, and she said they wouldn't be home until 10. It was about 8 right now, and Miku was so tired from everything that had happened earlier today, and she was ready to go to bed. Miku got into one side, her back to Len. "This feels so odd..." she mumbled as she flicked off the lamp light. "I'm sorry" Len looked at her. She flipped over so she was facing him. "Did I do anything bad when we met?" Len asked. Miku stared at him. His eyes...his voice... if you met him for the first time, it be hard to think he'd could be a Demon... So innocent... "Oh, uh, nothing, actually... Except..." Miku mumbled. She remembered the kiss when she met him... "You did..." "Kiss you?" he guessed. Miku nodded slowly. "Yeah, uh, sorry about that..." he apologized. "Maybe, we should... start over?" he asked, leaning slightly closer. Miku blushed. "Uh...sure..." she mumbled. Her face turned red. He seemed so nice when he wasn't a demon, but... still so... Miku felt his hand over hers... Eeee, this feels so...! He leaned closer... and closer... 'I can feel his breath!!!' Miku thought. She squeezed her eyes shut as his lips brushed hers... just a little closer and... "MIKU!" Rin busted open her door. "Agh! What?!" Miku sat upright. "Meiko's home early and she's coming to check on you!" Rin exclaimed. "Ah!" Miku panicked. "Rin, why are you yelling?" she could hear Meiko's footsteps. "Uh, nothing!" Rin looked to the side towards the stairs. "Hurry! Hide him!" she whispered. "Uh..." Miku looked around. Meiko's footsteps grew louder... So close, that all she could do was throw the covers over Len. "Miku?" Meiko peeked through the door. "Hi Meiko!" Miku exclaimed nervously. "I think I may have left my book in here somewhere..." Meiko said. "Oh, uh, but" she fake yawned. "I'm pretty tired, we had extra gym today! Mind getting it tomorrow?" she lied. "Oh, it's okay, I'll only be a minute." Meiko started sifting through her closet. Miku grew nervous. 'Please don't find Len!' she prayed. "I think it may be on your bed" Meiko reached down to pull the covers off of Len "Uh, no I don't think it's there!" she gently pushed her hand away and got up and sat on Len to keep her from removing the covers. "Well, just tell if you...find it..." Meiko looked at her suspiciously. "Okay, I can do that!" Miku called out to her after she left. Miku ran over and shut the door. "Phew..." she breathed. Len sat up. "You know, you're not as light as you think!" he complained. "Sorry..." she sighed. Miku got back to bed. They had actually went to sleep this time, probably thinking about how close they got... Eee!
Chapter 5 "Miku...Miku!" Miku opened her eyes slowly. Len was above her, shaking her shoulder. "Hey," he shook her awake. It was only 8AM.... "Mn, wha...?" she sat up and stretched. "Breakfast, PLEASE" he complained. "Huh? Oh, yeah..." she got out of her bed and opened the door. She quickly remembered that Meiko couldn't find out and slammed it shut quickly. "Oops!" she sighed. Miku peeked quietly out the door. No one in the hall, no TV noise downstairs.... Rin still seemed asleep. "I think Meiko and Kaito already left for work..." Miku observed the stairs. The lights were off... Good thing this week's Tuesday is a holiday, or getting ready for school would be really difficult. "Okay, come on..." Miku stumbled sleepily down the stairs and into the kitchen. "Okay, what do you want?" she asked, sifting through the pantry. "Pancakes?" he suggested. Pancakes? Not a lot of experience with pancakes... Meiko usually made those. "I'll try..." she took the mix out of the pantry and set it on the counter. "Do you want scrambled eggs with it?" she asked. "Sure" "Can you get out the eggs, butter, and milk?" Len opened the fridge and pulled out all the ingredients while Miku set the stove. She pulled out a frying pan and a bowl. "Here," he handed her everything and she set it on the marble counter. "Alrighty, let's see here..." she scanned over the instructions. "Here" she handed Len the bowl and a whisk. "I need water..." she filled up a measuring cup with water and mixed it with the pancake mix, along with the eggs and the butter. "Okay, so now we poor it on the pan..." "Here, I'll do it, you get the pan for the eggs ready" he slowly poured the mix onto the pan and it sizzled. Miku's mouth watered. The sweet smell of pancakes... Yum! Rin stomped lazily down the stairs, rubbing her eyes. "Mmm, something smells good..." she yawned. "We're making pancakes" Len explained as he scrapped the last of the mix onto the pan. "Ooh" she leaned over the pan and sniffed the air. Miku shoved her aside and placed down the frying pan. She cracked the eggs into another bowl and mixed them together. "Rin, can you get some plates?" Rin reached into the dishwasher and pulled out the silverware and the plates and set them on the table. "This looks SO good!" Miku commented.
Soon enough, everything got done. Rin's eyes sparkled. "Can we eat now? PLEASE?" she begged. Miku rolled her eyes. "Sure" Rin quickly grabbed a plate and took a stack of FOUR pancakes. "Really, Rin?" Len sighed. "What?" she mumbled through a mouthful of food. "I'm hungry!"
"Yum..." Rin sighed. Miku had to agree, the pancakes really filled them up... "So, what do we do now?" Rin asked a she stood and stretched. Miku took the plates and put them in the dishwasher. "How about a movie?" Len suggested. Rin went over to the movie shelves. "I got one!" Rin pulled out a CD case. "DAWN OF THE DEAD!!!" she exclaimed. "Rin! NO! I hate movies like that!" Miku objected. "Oh come on," Rin sighed. "Have you ever even watched this movie before?" "N..no..." "Just this once!" "...Fine..." They settled down on the leather couch, Miku and Len in the long one, Rin was snuggling in a blanket on the short one. When the movie got the actiony parts, Miku started getting frightened. Zombies, blood... "Ahh!" Miku covered her eyes and was practically smothering Len. "H-hey!" "I'm sorry!" she sat up straight again, though she stayed right next to him. "What's going to happen?" she asked quietly. In the movie, the main character got attacked by a zombie. "Ahh!" Miku shut her eyes and squeezed Len's arm. "Ow!" he looked at her. "Sorry!" she let go again. FINALLY the movie was over!!! "That...was AWESOME!" Rin through her hands in the air. "Except I could do without the screaming..." Rin glared at Miku. She looked down, embarrassed. "Aww, don't worry," Len patted Miku's head. "It's always scary the first time" he sighed. She blushed. He was so nice now... It was awkward. "I should catch up on homework..." Miku quickly sat up. "I'll go with you." Len stood up and stretched. They headed upstairs while Rin flipped on the TV, surfing through the channels. "It's so weird to see you so nice and polite..." Miku sighed as she began working on an over due essay. "Huh? Oh, uh... Heh, thanks...." he said embarrassed. "Yeah, but being sorta born onto the Demon side can really effect you.."
