yep, it is possible on vacation.
finally starting to kind of maybe calm down...
don't remember crying as much as I did at the funeral on Saturday (and the whole day after). It hit me (and I lost it) when Dave brought up a book that Ken and Chris had recorded their voices to (so they could read to their first grandkid without having to actually be there); hearing her voice again and realizing that I'd never hear it in person again was unexpected...
She had the most unique, contagious laugh on the planet. couldn't help but make a person smile.
And because she was cremated, there wasn't a burial. It was her idea, I guess, to have a pizza party afterwards. So that was a good way to celebrate her life, just like she wanted ^^
been so much going on... got done with my stuff earlier this afternoon, was going to go back into town and start looking for a job, but when I sat down, every inkling of desire to get back up again left me.
Nick called. Has a job for me to do remotely this summer~~~!!
so I have that to work on.
and since i actually have the house to myself for once, have a chance to start working on stuff today, too. :]
now it's just a matter of getting to it...... hmmm.
lots of people are going to the dentist today, myself included. that was the first thing on the list this morning... he cleaned under my bottom retainer. honestly, I don't think that's ever been cleaned. I've been licking my teeth (especially right below my retainer) all morning haha.
............ right then. slowly but surely my summer calendar is filling up. it's time to get to work.
