Sylenna's My Journal
When people ask to describe myself I find it is interesting, for they don't want to know something about me they want to know all about me. I will plan to write about whatever will come to my mind.
Trek and Diabetes
I don't feel like doing a story but rather a blog, I guess. I don't know what you would put in a blog and who in the world would read this anyway but, eeh. Everything is worth trying.
So being in the church that I am in and all, I get to walk for miles on end for days! eek And I'm doing this willingly. So everybody that goes on it says stuff like, "It's such a great experience. You're going to love it and get so dirty. When Kristen came back I didn't even recognize her." Hmm, so dirty to no end + walking for miles everyday + no shower for three days + having to push a cart around + scorching heat burning_eyes = great experience? This hike-like thing is called trek. We are suppose to follow in our great-great-great(how ever many greats) grandparents' footsteps, who suffered while going there. Even though I have been downing this and I know that I'm not going to like it while I'm there. Once it's done, I'm planning on being like, "That was such a great experience, whoever goes next time is going to have so much fun!" It's totally going to throw the people that go next time off.
So how diabetes goes into this is that I have type 1 diabetes. There are two. I will explain in another post what exactly is diabetes. Well, since I have diabetes, during exercise my blood glucose can drop down. So much, that if I don't have food, I will die. So I have a risk of dying during this. I'm going to have a great summer!
