Shout a joyful noise!
TODAY WAS AMAZING!!!
I went to church for my first Sunday at The Faith Church, and I was so blessed! We sang a few songs, of which I knew none of them. LoL But it didn't stop me from singing them, and singing them LOUDLY Ha ha! The Bible says to "make a joyful noise unto the Lord." Nowhere does it say "only sing if you can carry a tune." So I made that noise and I made it at the top of my lungs!
There were a lot of raised arms, amens and hallelujahs! Lots of Scripture and spiritual teachings. And Pastors Jay and Amy Atkins are truly anointed and on fire for God! When really feeling the Spirit, you can't stand/sit still. And throughout the service I couldn't! I was on the edge of my seat and shouted those amens several times!
I re-committed myself today and I can't wait to see what Jesus has in store for me!!!

I almost forgot why I titled it the way I did! Not only for the joyful noise I made during praise and worship, but because something in the message moved me to share. The Pastor said when you are going through trials and tribulations, no matter how big or small, of course you should give it to God. But don't just meekly hand it over to Him. You SHOUT it to Him. For when you shout, it takes you out of the middle of your iniquities, and places you in His presence. You shout your praise to God and thank Him for what you have and you are immediately transported to His loving and caring presence. He will be with you wherever you go. The next time I am feeling overwhelmed by the crap that gets slung at me, instead of just praying to myself for His help, I am literally going to SHOUT a joyful noise unto the Lord! That will shake it up a bit! LoL
