Inspiration turned Fiction
I'm bored and interested in writing, that's all the reason and the description that I need for this...
Conqueror of Nuzlocke
The shadow of the valley threatened to overwhelm the poor soul. They were running as fast as they could through the inky blackness. Pokemon, the only one that they feared, poured from the cavern that they had just left. It was harder and harder for them to continue breathing as ice began to swim in their veins. The severity of the situation was beginning to weigh on them.

Abruptly, the escapee turned. It was sudden enough that the pursuers hadn't noticed the quick transition and passed right by them. There, in the small crack in the wall, the unknown person released a breath they hadn't even realized they were holding. They had escaped for the moment, ensuring their survival for several minutes. Quietly, seconds ticked by as they waited for the inevitable.

But they were further surprised as nothing popped in to existence. There was nobody in the area, going off the lack of noise. Not that the pursuers made noise when they moved! It was enough to lull them into a sense of security. They left the safety of the crack to continue their search for an exit in this hellish nightmare. And it was there, in that moment, that the God of Pokemon; Arceus, condemned them.

They stepped on a branch that had fallen out of the foliage above.

Unsurprisingly, the noise resounded throughout the small enclosure of the valley. In just seconds the temperature around the person dropped as figures took shape. It was done. They were found. Smiling, a tear dripping from their eye, they prepared themselves for the end. They were quiet as they were grabbed from behind and pulled inside the cavern. Death was their only - "Fuuin!"

Blinking, they watched as the nightmare Pokemon disappeared around them. One by one the creatures began to vanish until none of them remained. Relief, pure and unadulterated, filled their chest as they relaxed on the cool ground below. However, one thing bothered them. Who in the name of Arceus had saved them? "Fuuin..."

"Fuuin!"

XxX

Fuuin lurched upright at the sound of his father yelling at him, bright cerulean glowing in the dim light. He was in the back of the rental truck. The one his family had rented when they made landfall outside of Petalburg. Breathing in, the teenager wiped off the sweat that was collected on his brow. Arceus, when was the last time he was plagued by that nightmare? Months, at least.

Finally, the blond took notice of his father watching him out of the corner of his eyes. The older man was no doubt concerned. It was increasingly rare for the young man to sweat in his sleep. Only two things had the potential for that. Heat, which was impossible as the back of the truck was rather cold. And the recurring nightmare that he'd had since his early childhood.

The man blamed himself partially for that. He was the one that had chosen to leave the boy alone with a Ghost-type Pokemon. In his defense, he wasn't expecting Gengar to downright torture the child! Gengar was one of the best well-behaved monsters in his collection. It was rather uncharacteristic of him.

"I just wanted to let you know that we're here."

Fuuin released the tension in his muscles. They were in Littleroot. Home of the incredible Professor Birch and his daughter; Anne. Why his father wanted to move them all the way to Hoenn from Unova was beyond him. But that wasn't the point, the youngster told himself. Today was the start of his journey in Hoenn.

The start of his Pokemon adventure!
