Sakura's Babble
I Like Fire...Do You Like Fire?
Inquisitors as companions (wip)
Name: Har'an Lavellan

Race, Class, & Specialization: Elf, mage, keeper

Varric’s Nickname for him: Terror

Where they are in Skyhold: The barn, usually the second floor, but occasionally can be found at the bottom of the stairs.

Things they Generally Approve of: Harsh punishments, helping elves, snarky comments

Things they Generally Disapprove of: Anything pro-chantry, talking s**t about wardens

Thoughts on Mages: He is surprisingly unsympathetic towards the rebellion. He dislikes the idea of the circles, but bitterly concedes their necessity given what former circle mages have been doing with their freedom. Helping escaped mages who haven't decided to start murdering random innocents or otherwise abusing their powers will still net some approval from him.

Thoughts on Templars: Awful. Just awful. The only templars he's encountered were the ones harassing every living thing in the Hinterlands. He's not a fan.

Friends in the Inquisition:
He and Vivienne are unimpressed by each other at first; a forest-dwelling apostate with an aversion to proper footwear and a self-entitled human who strives to rebuild her own gilded cage. However, they quickly gain mutual respect in their solid control of differing schools of magic, and find that their opinions of the circle aren't as different as they first assumed. Also just because you live in the forest most of the time doesn't mean you can't have good fashion sense in the appropriate setting.

He absolutely loves Sera. No one can really figure out why.
(When asking Ellana's opinion of Sera, she says Sera reminds her of their sister... which is why Ellana avoids her as much as possible.)

Blackwall is an interesting case. They don't speak often, but Har'an will frequently sit with him and carve smaller items and toys.
(If the Hero of Ferelden was Dalish, Har'an has more to say to him, particularly about the wardens.)
Their relationship changes little after 'Revelations'. (If Blackwall was given to the wardens and Mahariel is the Warden Commander, Blackwall may ask Har'an about them. His response is three seconds of laughter.)

He and Solas couldn't really be considered "Friends" but they get angry at some of the same things and like to commiserate.
(They may speak to each other in Elvhen in party banter. If the Inquisitor is not Dalish, they can ask them to share with the class, tell them to stop, or ignore them. If you select anything other than 'ignore them' they will apologize for not including the rest of the party- but Har'an will do so in Elvhen)

Romanceable?: Males of any race, female elves.
Will be in a relationship with Dorian, if the Inquisitor romances the Iron Bull

Companion quest:

``````````
Name: Ellana Lavellan
Race, Class, & Specialization: Elf, archer, infiltrator
Varric’s Nickname for her: Sweet pea
Where they are in Skyhold: Second floor of the barn, usually sitting in the big opening over the entrance
Things they Generally Approve of: Merciful judgments, helping people
Things they Generally Disapprove of: Executions, refusing to help people, harsh dialog options, killing non-aggressive animals in the field.
Thoughts on Mages: They're people??? She wasn't even aware this was an issue.
Thoughts on Templars: Why? Their role is unclear to her, and the ones in the Hinterlands were terrifying, but you can't judge an entire group by a few individuals.
Friends in the Inquisition:
She enjoys spending time with Solas. She is very interested in the stories he tells about what he saw in the fade, and loves having someone other than her brother to speak Elvhen with. He, in return, enjoys her open-mindedness towards his revelations of elvhen culture, and inherent curiosity in everything.
Dorian thinks she is the cutest thing to ever live, and appreciates both the intent and antics of her attempts to do everything in her power to keep people happy. They can often be seen simply sitting together and reading.
Romanceable?: Any race/gender. It's easiest with a human male, and most difficult with a qunari. (Har'an will slightly approve of a male elf confirming a relationship with her)
She will enter a romance with Cullen, if the inquisitor does not.
Companion quest:
````
How they are recruited: The Inquisitor finds him and his sister in the Hinterlands, fighting both mages and templars. Should you choose to assist them, Ellana thanks you, but Har'an is suspicious and stands between her and you with his staff raised, and he asks who's side you're on. You can tell him any of the usual responses

    " Neither. I'm just trying to restore order" - causes him to laugh at you and give a sarcastic, "Well good luck with that." as he turns to leave, but Ellana will tell him they should help you.

    "The Templars/rebel mages must be stopped." - Either one makes Har'an stand down and agree, he believes both sides need to be put down and would be glad to work together in taking out whichever one you choose.

At this point you can ask them questions ( Who even are you, what are you doing here, what are your skills, ect..)
You can either accept or deny their offer of help. You can recruit both or neither, but they are a package deal.
(Once recruited, you can add one to your party without the either. Har'an will complain a little bit if you bring Ellana places without him, especially to the big dangerous plot missions, but it doesn't effect approval.)

Small sidequest: Collect a few items left behind by Dalish clans in various areas.

Other stuff: They are the cousins of the Dalish PC from Origins, no matter the world state. If the Hero of Ferelden was/is Dalish, the siblings have more to say about them (particularly after Into the Abyss). If the warden was another origin, the pair will still mention their cousin and Tamlen after Morrigan brings the Eluvian to Skyhold.
