Yay I finally finished chapter 3. *sigh* this taking forever... anyways enjoy and let me know what you think ^_^

The tavern was busy like it usually was during the evening, and everyone there knew to give Arisa her space, especially after that unfortunate man tried to impose himself on her. Arisa smiled to herself in morbid humor. They found his body outside the tavern, hanging from the sign. No one knew she had done it, but most had suspected, but no one dared confront her about it. A growl from her stomach interrupted her from her thoughts and she realized that she hadn't eaten in two days. Taking a seat at a table in the corner, Arisa waited for the waitress to show up and take her order. After eating her dinner, she sat and thought through what she knew of the thief. Well, for starters, he was rather tall and his ivory hair would definitely make him stick out a bit. And his eyes.... a chill ran through her when thought about those gorgeous violet eyes on her. It was then she spotted a tousled bunch of ivory hair sitting at the bar. "Speak of the devil," She thought. It was the thief. Standing up, she walked over, and slipped her knife over his throat. Calmly turning around, he stood and said, "Hey, fancy meeting you here, can I buy you a drink?". She stared the thief in the eyes. Once again, those eyes seemed to send a burst of electricity through her. "Pull yourself together Arisa, its just a guy for God's sake," her thoughts seemed to scream at her. She only smiled as she pushed the guy against the wall, her knife still pressing against his throat. "Sheesh, all I did was ask if you wanted a drink."
"Where is it?"
"Where is what?" His eyes showed mild amusement, which only made Arisa furious.
"You know, the pendant you stole from me."
He shrugged.
"I don't have it anymore, it was less than useless to me so I sold it."
Arisa's jaw dropped, and for the first time in her life, she didn't know what to say, and stumbled over her words.
"Y-y-you SOLD IT!!"
He shook his head as if scolding a child who was having a temper tantrum. He didn't meet her gaze, but when he finally looked up, she did not like the looks of what ever it was he was thinking.
"Where did you sell it?"
He gave a smug grin that took every last bit of self-control in her to keep from smacking it off.
"I'll give that information if..."
Arisa pulled the knife away from his throat.
"If what?"
A sly smile crossed his face as he cupped her cheek in hand, brushing a finger over her lower lip.
"I will help you for the small price of one kiss."
The whole room went dead silent, and all Arisa could do was stare at him like he was completely out of his mind.
She took a step back.
"W-What?" Arisa could tell she was blushing and desperately wished that she had left her hood on when she came in.
"I won't," she snapped back once she got control of her sudden fast beating heart. "There's no way!"
"What? Its not like I'm asking that much of you. Just a kiss."
Arisa shook her head, "You jerk, I won't, you stole the necklace from me in the first place, and I don't make a habit of rewarding bad behavior."
"And are your kisses so pleasant that they serve as rewards?" He inquired, one eyebrow arching.
"Hey, you're the one that asked for it, I didn't suggest it! But you'd never find that out anyway!" Arisa bit out.
He shrugged, as if he didn't care about her decision either way, but his eyes said differently. Everyone around them seemed to lose interest in the couple, and went back to their drinks. Looking past her, the thief directed his attention to the bartender.
"I guess you can cancel my order. I won't be staying." He gave a wink as he past an in-shock Arisa, but he stopped once he got back to the door.
"The offer still stands, but I can guarantee you that you won't find it."
"Go to hell!"
The grin never left his face as he turned and left the tavern.
