You're doing a fantastic job, Lanzer. You just came back but you've hit the ground running, making changes and listening to the community. You're excited to be fixing problems and making everyone happy, so don't be hard on yourself for an oversight in what is honestly quite easily overlooked, especially when you have to reorient yourself in the captain's chair. You were quick to correct the mistake, and in a most admirable way by offering arrangements with those who paid with GC and also retaining the GC option alongside the new gold one.

Gaians do complain, and a lot of the time are not so nice about it because they forget that there is another person with feelings on the other side of the screen. But we're all stupid happy to have you back, man. Please don't let anyone's attitude get to you. You're amazeballs and I can't even get my head around all the positive changes you've been rolling out and working on and asking feedback for.

Please run for president. If you handled this country the way you run Gaia, we'd all be in much better shape. gonk

Not sure I understand what the intended outcome for this was if you want gold OR GCash available as forms of payment for outfit slots, because I get the below that combines the two.



And then I get this, when I have 1T+ gold, which I'm assuming is erroring out because I don't have the "plus 1,375 GCash"?



It seems like it would be much easier to code by using 25GC OR 1.3B regardless of the slot number. I think the gold price is ridiculously high BTW - why is it priced that much? Some Gaiains don't purchase GCash, or if they do they spend it on items/RIGs/project tickets because of how costly those are. If anything you would think that offering outfit slots at a lower gold-only price would encourage Gaiains to spend gold elsewhere or even buy GCash since purchasing additional outfit slots would encourage them to create and save awesome avatars in them!

Thanks for the open-minded attention to detail! I'm not a fluent coder but I analyze data for work, and I can tell you that taking a step back from projects big or small allows you to go about it another way. Talking to other people within or outside of your department also brings a new perspective to help your mind push it to completion.

Lanzer the option to buy outfit slots is gone for me. I only have 7 outfits so I know it's not because I bought them all. confused

I hate to bother you after you've done so much for us users in so little time but the option to purchase outfit slots is no longer available to me. I've only got 27 slots so far so I know I'm not even close to having too many.

BTW, thank you so much for getting the item previews in the shops fixed, I'm not sure how long it's been since I've been able to use the preview naked button. You Rock!!!

Oh, a gold purchase option now! o_o That's sort of okay, but having to purchase the first few slots... that'll have to wait for me unless you decided to change that too. sweatdrop

I'm not entirely sure what the issue is that you're looking into with the inventory.
But I could not organize my inventory for the longest time due to my computer being a touch screen while using chrome. So via reading threads here on Gaia, I made Chrome unusable via touch screen on my computer, then it worked fine. I'm not sure whether or not that's the same issue everyone is having though?

The 'measure twice cut once' concept works really well here.
I have some friends worries about the BBCode being altered so all their threads needing recoding of you changing the posting system. I wonder if you could give some info on that to us users to see what your planning with that. The idea of reformatting 10 thread seems daunting. Also @.@ this might be in the back... back of your mind but guilds really do need a revamp. The posting style is old and is almost like old world gaia inside the site. Anyways. Just something to add to the huge to do list.

In regards to the Inventory arranger bug: From what I've gathered, dragging issues happen most often in Webkit/Blink browsers (Chrome, Safari, Opera, etc.).

Item shuffling happens in any browser and is caused by items being bumped from one page to the next. Arranging items under the "All" tab greatly reduces the likelihood of this happening, but some people just want to arrange in their "equipped" tab ^^;

I think those are the two main complaints which people have about the arranger (?)

You're doing great, Lanzer! It seems like nothing was getting done under old management, but as soon as you come back and get to work, things are being fixed and updated left and right every day! We really appreciate all the hard work. That being said, you need down time. No need to work all night. Give your body some rest and relaxation that it needs.

On another note, the 450 kins problem could be greatly solved if we had more formulas to turn excess kin into other things. This is especially needed for kin with no sell back and for the event kin that didn't have formulas, like the slimes from this summer's event and the mice from Christmas's event. Optimally, it would be amazing if every kin had a formula for something (perhaps a special rig?). It could be a few separate formulas with different paths based on one world each in LK.

A solution for items stuck in temp storage is simple. if you find you can't move and save the move and are trying to put it on the last page there are 3 ways around this that can be tried.

1). move the item stack only one stack at a time mind you to the first page instead of the last.
If that doesn't work

2)if it is a stack and not a single item highlight the stack in the temp storage while pressing ctrl+alt this allows you to split the stack. you will now find you can move the stack you split off . the split stack is now ordered. You should be able to put that smaller split on the page you are on just not the last slot.of the last page. do not switch pages after splitting the stack in temp storage, place it and save. that split in temp storage only last on the page you are on. if you want to do it for more than one stack in your temp storage save in between each stack if you are having problems.

If that doesn't work

3) Move the item you are having trouble getting out of temp storage to perm storage and save. Then you can move the number of that item you want to take out onto any page from your main storage.

my fiance and i both play Gaia. but we were talking about the new pricing for the outfits slots and came up with a less....awkward way to price them. it seems strange to have to buy all these slots for g-cash to then get to 100 and basically have another 100 slots for pretty cheap. This is just an idea and im not sure how difficult it would be to bring to fruition. It wouldnt be a refund..but add the slots theve already bought for gcash to the backend of the outfits. ex. my fiance had 28 slots bought before the update. after the update instead of have to continue to pay for 29-100 with gcash. the one slot she bought would convert to slot 128(the gcash starting slot) and slots 29-127 would be bought for coins , slots 129-200 for gcash..it was hard to get that idea out in writing. i hope this makes sense. just some food for thought.
but anyways. we also want to say how awesome the updates for gaia have been. its taking such a turn for awesomeness since you starting changing things. keep up the awesome work. cant wait to see whats next!!! ninja
