Happy New Year!
It's hard to believe that it's already one year since my return to Gaia. Thanks to Bluecow and his resources we were able to raise some funding to get the company back from the old management team. Not only that, but being able to work with L0cke and CP again is also a blessing.
Since then it's been a crazy ride with milestones big and small. We went from having a system full of bugs and issues to having more than 500 bug fixes, with server upgrade to new and stable systems. We bringing back zOMG and worked non stop making new events and features. There was never a dull moment in 2017.
Throughout the whole chaos in it all, I can never stop being amazed at the amount of support we have from so many Gaians who had been with us for so many years, through thick and thin, and through good times and bad. I wouldn't be here if not for all of your support, and I owe a lot of gratitude for allowing us to be here doing what we love.
For 2018 we will continue working on new features for Gaia, and on top of that, we will focus more attention on what we want to do to evolve Gaia onto the next level. We initially wish to port a newer mobile app. But while that is happening, we want to see what we can do if we were to design all of Gaia's features from the ground up. There will be a lot more brainstorming and ideas being thrown around, but I hope that whatever we come up with will be something enjoyable for everyone.
