If I have decided anything, it's that the most important thing in life is happiness. And not just personal happiness, but happiness of all those around you, as their joy will add to your own, and to the joy of those around them. It really is contagious, you see. If I'm smiling, then they will smile, and in turn they will make someone else smile. And if we're all having a great time, then I believe we have fulfilled our purpose in life. Happiness, it's the only thing that is right.
I've been trying oh so hard to live life to the fullest. This summer consists of good friends, good food, traveling, parties, and the shining sun above. Tonight me and two friends will go to Sneaky Dees (a Mexican restaurant and venue) for music and fajitas! This tomorrow I shall help my mother at our cottage-to-be and then head back to Toronto to catch the Birthday Massacre show.
Oh, the show will be wonderful, I'm sure. I love the Birthday Massacre, and haven't gotten to see them since October of 2004. Back then there was about 10 people in the Horseshoe tavern, but they were wonderful all the same. Now they will be playing in front of hundreds! Really, if you haven't heard of them, at least check them out. They are barrels of fun.
Due to a dream I had last night, my mind today is also full of Summer Fest. Yes, Deep River Ontario is once again having their bi-annual summer festival, featuring music, competitions, and an all weekend beer tent. My goodness it will be fun. I can't wait! It's the first weekend in August. Yay!
And then Wakestock, possibly, if Ash is still up for it.
And somewhere in there, camping in Ohio with the Warcraft boys.
Yes, this is my summer.
