I'm so happy. I actually got to play my sims4 for a bit today.
I haven't played it in so long because it's been lagging so badly on my laptop, not loading, or freezing up badly. It froze up slightly today but ran pretty nicely overall.
I played one of my newer files. I usually play where I control everything like some control freak and all my sims are good people. I tend to like the soul mate options and stuff like bookworm, creative.

I wanted to play a bit differently. I'm controlling a main sim; Alexis. I started her off as a child. She is an only child with a mom and dad. I randomized traits and such and I'm letting the parents control themselves. I'm only helping them with skills for job progression. Alexis traits so far are "messy" and "afraid of the dark/ fear of the dark" The fear of the dark is a little annoying since my sim will wake up multiple times when I want her to be sleeping. I have multiple night-lights but that doesn't quell her fear. But still an interesting and relatable trait.
I can't sleep in pitch darkness because I'll hyperventilate. I don't like not being able to see my surroundings. And I don't want to see evil spirits. Never seen a ghost in my life and don't want to. So I sleep with my tv on which gives me enough light to see while also dim enough for me to sleep.
