They said they did

You were lost and all alone
They say when your alone you think about things others have

They say its like its right beside you but you can't touch it
You feel alone like never before
All these emotions build up inside
It fills you with pride
Until the day you meet someone that can help
Thats when you cry and yelp
You tell them everything
Your whole life all remembered
They a friend
A friend that became family
The one you know that can help you
Your teacher
Your guide
They are always by your side
With that day of comfert you felt so good
Like finally someone had understood
Your old family gone
But a new one is now born
With them you cherish your life no matter what
You stay with them until time ends
That is true love to me
Loving those closest as can be
When you have no one else thats all you got
The new family that you sought
For me its the same no one understands
Only those who lended a helping hand
For I'am no longer lost
But found with a new family
The love is there I can feel it

Just remember, true love isn't about sex or physical attraction
Its about love of the people you care about
And if you care so much you know then you can do anything
They make you rise when you fall
They help you when your down
They are the true people who can help you grow
