A 15-year old boy with black hair, black eyes, and a slight tan was walking down the hallway of Hikaru High School towards his class.

"Lee Slither please report to my office. Lee Slither please report to my office," the principal said over the intercom. Noticing that his name was called, Lee turned around started walking.

Lee was one of the greatest students that Hikaru High School ever had walk through its halls. There were many great accomplishments, but Lee was younger than all of them. Most students got a name for themselves in their last year or two of high school. Lee still had three and was one of the youngest students in his grade. He had a name because not only was he the star member of the school's Track Team, but he was one of the most intellectual students as well.

While on his way to the principal's office, he walked past his girlfriend, Cesia. She was one of the popular girls who had many friends, was captain of the varsity cheerleader squad, and was considered beautiful by most. She had long honey gold hair, light blue eyes, natural tan skin, white teeth, and was beautiful in other ways that would've made most guys get excited.

She squealed when she saw him, ran up to him, gave him a hug, and finished it with a kiss. When she broke the kiss, he told her that he had to be somewhere right now.

"Where do you have to be? Class doesn't start for another ten minutes and I want to spend some time together," she said as she used her middle finger to draw circle on his chest.

Lee grabbed her hand gently and said, "The principal wants to see me now so this will have to wait." He gave Cesia a kiss and walked off.

As soon as Lee entered Mr. Takamoto's office, he felt that something was wrong.

"Lee, there's no way to sugar coat this so I'm going to give it to you straight," Principal Takamoto said as he sat across from Lee in his chair. "I received a call from the most well known school in Hiroshima, Japan. They want you to enter their school as a student and as captain of their track team. They have some of the best runners, but they don't have THE best. That's you. As you know, the school is private and very expensive," he said. "But they want to make a deal. If you enter, they will pay for the rest of the three years you still have and in return you will captain their track team in the spring. I've spoken to your parents about this. They say it will be beneficial to your education and we have all agreed to sending you there," he finished.

Lee was as confused as a blind drunk in a dark room, looking for a black cat that isn't there, and thinks it's there even though he knows it isn't. "Wait a minute, so you're saying that I'm being sent to the best known school in the country because I'm one of the best track athletes in Japan and have an I.Q. that surpasses any common 15 year-old. Even though I'm getting in free and will look very good to the guys who except students into colleges, i don't even get to choose if I want to go or not?" Lee said, out of breath when he was done.

"Unfortunately, yes, son. You are going without a personal choice. That decision was made by several faculty members and your parents. I'm sorry,' Mr. Takamoto finished and bowed his head.

Lee stood there shocked, unable to speak. His whole life and reputation at this school was being thrown out the window, into the hands of a school he didn't even know, and didn't even get a choice.
