so as some of you should know I got a new fish at the beginning of summer and I named him Sir Blue de Pimsikin III after my last two fish (the first of which I killed by accident, I put a shell in his bowl and it changed something in the water and he died the next morning I was so upset
Just for the record all three of them have been red... don't ask.
So I was going to write my Gaia story and suddenly I remembered I haven’t cleaned sir blues bowl... ever (technically it’s a vase.) So I figured I would do that first so I wouldn’t kill him. I love sir Blue he's such a pretty fish and he was the only one there that wasn’t half dead... except for that white one... which was in fact... dead. I bought him and every thing for him with my own money (which is a first, usually they are Christmas presents) and he lived all threw the care of Midnight while I was away (whom I didn't doubt for a second)....
I digress
So today I was cleaning the bowl out and I had to pour him into a large cup and put him into the sink while I cleaned the bowl (vase) and the pretty rocks that decorate it. I was cleaning and cleaning and when I looked over into the cup he should have been in and... He was gone... apparently he had jumped out of the cup and down the sink. (My dad was joking saying that he tried to commit suicide… he wasn’t) My mom came over and said "you left him in the bowl and didn't plug the sink?"
I was devastated.
I didn't ant to have killed another one. But my wonderful dad sat under the sink opened it and cleaned it (I was sitting in the corner saying ‘I killed him’ over and over) after a few minutes we heard the water and he said got him. He came out a little scared and kind of dirty but otherwise unharmed.
And so ends the great adventure of the red beta Sir Blue de Pimsikin... God I love a happy ending... especially when it involves my fish blaugh

he lived for three years, the second died because he starved himself to death, he lasted a week).
