Today was the first day I have missed school this year. And only a few weeks in. I usually take my first day off in a month.
It's not that I like school... It's just that, usually, I feel like I fall REALLY behind when I miss school. At least it was a Thursday, which would be the best day of the week to miss school. I receive missed work on Friday and then have a whole weekend to do Thursday's work and Friday's homework (which I usually don't get, anyway). What also sucks is that, if my memory isn't failing, I would be the first person in my Japanese class to miss school. Oh well... it was going to happen sometime.
It is inevitable that I will miss school, with my allergies and sineses.
In other news, I spent my 100 dollars from this year and some of last years. I got a Wacom USB tablet extension for my laptop and two Tamagotchi Connection V3's. I may be too old for them, but what teenager hasn't gone and did something they would do as a kid. (I will not give up Pokemon!) So far, my tablet has two good uses... drawing and Japanese.
Speaking of Japanese, I have learned how to write 15 of the 46 characters, allowing me to write 25 of the 107 sounds. More specifically, I know A, I, U, E, O; KA, KI, KU, KE, KO; and SA, SHI, SU, SE, SO. With the use of tenten, I can also write GA, GI, GU, GE, GO; and ZA, JI, ZU, ZE, ZO.
I am sure I am pretty good at pronounciation, according to our student-teacher.

As for Japanese: You've learned more characters then we have! We've only learned A, E, I, O and U. But then again we've learned how to write numbers 1-10. xD
I love Japanese!
