<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v101/Sealynn/icons/tlm_palace01.png" align="left">Yea...I should be studying, but I feel like goofing off. I have 5 midterms next week. I've studied for two of my test so far, so I'm half way there. Ugh. Midterms suck.
Hmmmm what else to talk about? I know. How about the strange return of 80s cartoons. I find it odd that the Care Bears, Strawberry Shortcake and others are coming back. I watched these shows as a kid. I loved the Smurfs and Rainbow Brite the best...but I digress.
What's up with the marketing area for children today? Why are we now getting our ideas from the past? I just think it's been done. What happen to new ideas and creativity? What is up with the animation quality and story telling? It sucks...really awful. I used to watch Disney cartoons when I was small, like Gummi Bears, Tailspin and Darkwing Duck. Now it seems all Disney has is Kim Impossible. What happen here? And why is everyone getting lazy and doing everything via computer? What happened to drawing by hand? They used to be good at that. *sigh*
When I see things like Mucho Lucha(or whatever that is) or another attempt of re-animating Batman I want to scream. I liked the Batman that came out in the early 90s. It was good! But now....I just have bad eye twitches. Now I don't think all cartoons have fell by the way side. I like Fairly Odd Parents and Hey Arnold...and a couple of others, but it seems that animation has been slowing dying, and it's just plain sad. I'm not expecting a Hayao Mizaki production, but just something of the same quality when I was little.
Come on, the Wuzzles is a classic. Is it that hard to think of some else that can be just as good?
You grew up way too fast, and now there's nothing to believe. Reruns all become our history...
