<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v101/Sealynn/icons/nature01.jpg" align="right">Woah...been a long time since I've posted. sweatdrop Mainly because I've been busy with school and Nursing and such. I did get on the Dean's list last semester. *cheers and does a little dance* Anyhoo, I wanted to point out some key points that I've learned about my faith. Sharing time! *cheers and holds up some happy flags*
1. Man cannot save himself by trying to do good things to make up for the sin in his life. Only through God can this be achieved. A person recieves eternal life as an act of God's grace, and not by their own efforts or goodness.
Ephesians 2:8-9 "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast."
2. God's love is eternal, but he is equally just in his judgements.
3. Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for my sin.
4. Faith begins with mental assent and moves immediately to trust relying totally on Jesus Christ for eternal life.
Acts 16:31 "...Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved--you and your household."
5. Remember, baptism does not wash away your sin. Only Jesus can do that! It does not make you believe--it shows that you already believe in Christ. Like a wedding ring, it tells others that you are joined to Christ and Christ alone.

Just some very key points that I believe in. (Actually I know they are true! 3nodding ) Anyhoo, I felt like posting these. They help me remember Jesus better. ^____^
