It's not suicide... right?
As many close friends and possibly some family members (...perhaps only my dad) I've attempted suicide many times. (Lost count.)
Well, I was putting away the dishes today. I pulled out a steak knife to put away and I found myself staring at it. I put the blade close to my wrist and was about to cut it hard, but I was restraining myself. I couldn't do it. And since I didn't actually touch my wrist with the blade... I put it away. And continued putting away everything else. (Not much was left)
So, correct me if I'm wrong.... but what I did wasn't a suicide attempt, right? It was..... ummm... suicide attempt without the suicide? So it was just an attempt?
It wouldn't be considered "suicide attempt" unless I actually cut my wrist at that point...
