Once again I feel this change
Like never before I arrange
To another form I converge
To a form I know for sure
With merging of the animal half
I begin this magical act
To form into one soul
With two bodies that are whole
My head begins to shift
My mouth turns into a beak
My eyes start bigger and gleaming
My chest grows smaller but still large
My arms turn their way into wings
My torso turns into a tail
As my legs turn into talons
I have become an eagle
A creature that heals
The symbol of light
Divine
Foresight
And power all combine
For at last I am this one proud bird
To transform into such a form is a magical act
For sure it is forgotten
Not many have it
But to pursue this path I take away my human half
To live as one with two sides

never forgetting who I am
I merge with this beast
Filled with awareness no one has ever seen
To fly away from this place
To another day is the best way
To use this power I shall
To become one with the animal
To become one with human
To commit this powerful act
Then transform like a fact
To know secrets untold by human
To enter a world of fur and feather
One that no mere human could tether
To reach across space and time
Not as human
Not as animal
But as a whole together
