I hereby declare this daily journal to be open for business! biggrin
Eh, I had a Xanga page for awhile, but I thought I'd get more attention here, and since I already spend about 75% of my waking time on this site already, I figured it would just be easier to use a journal here as well.
So anyways, more background about me for those who don't see me regularly on teh Intarweb...I'm 16, live in West Virginia in the Good 'Ol US of A, and I'm currently in my junior year in High School. I'm am absolute video game geek and nerd (I'm a gerd! xd ), and devotee to various TV shows/serials. I like most entertainment, really, whether it be movies, music, or video games and TV, but I'm not completely socially-incompetant either. Those things are all best enjoyed with friends. 3nodding
SOoo..anything interesting happen today? Hmm, bridge-building in Physics class, argument with my History teacher (not like that's new though.)...Oh yeah! I got my Driver's License on Friday, so you'd better watch out 'cause now I'm legally able to get behind a wheel on my own. OOOoOoooOOO!!*insert dramatic music here* heh, third time's the charm! I failed the first two times, but finally passed with flying colors three days ago. And today I signed a couple forms at the Car Insurance place that will add 900$ to my parent's car insurance bill. Hee. domokun
Another thing about me: I've been playing the piano since second grade (about ten years now!) and I'm pretty damn good, if I do say so myself. Well, last night I was checking around a few of my favorite video game fansites, and they had sheet music for a few Nintendo games! I ran them off, and they're really neat. I'm having a lot of fun with it, I looked around for some more later, and sure enough there's a few more sites that have sheet music for games! Now my parents are more convinced than ever that I'm obsessed over video games, because of playing Christmas carols at the piano, I'm playing the music from Super Mario games. xd Oh, it's not just Mario, I've got some music from the original Sonic games (although most of it is a b***h to play, it's way too fast! >.< wink , Tetris, Megaman, and even Final Fantasy! Right now I'm working on the theme from the Final Bowser battle in Super Mario 64. It's like Tocatta and Fugue in D Minor, only made of pure Win and Awesomeness.
Did I mention it's completely awesome? 'Cause it is. biggrin
*sigh*, but something's still missing in my life...Heroes! No, no, the TV show! I got into it late (about the fourth episode in), but after catching up on what I've missed, I got completely addicted! The show is soooo cool! This might just be the serial that converts me over the dreaded Sci-Fi geek camp. I was having a blast watching it, but just when the episodes start getting really good, they put it on Hiatus until January 22! SIX WEEKS! No, I actually figured it out in the Trigonometry class this morning (Hey, I was bored! sweatdrop ). I'm starting to go into withdrawl already. gonk Really, Heroes was the only reason that I looked forward to Mondays after 24 finished, now there's an empty episodic-TV-show-shaped (whatever shape that is) hole in my heart! *tear*
Whew! That's a lot of typing. If you've actually read this far, congratulations! I promise most of my entries won't be this long....I think. sweatdrop
