So the administrators ahve announced when the madness will begin. I prepare for server lag, being bumped from the server and restraining myself from throwing my keyboard through my monitor or smashing my mouse upon the desk. Yes, another Gaian event is upon us! With the rumors flying of the Zurg, Santa, cows, Gambino and even Jack(why can't he just have his day and be left alone. I haven't heard from the Easter Bunny since his day!) But anyway, this is my first year on Gaia and the Easter event was my first major event. It went well, I must say. Then came Halloween. Lag, booting, slow as a snail going, freezing the event and expanding. The constant giving of pants! But I reatrained and was patient. And I felt satisfied AND entertained. But most importantly, I will be prepared for the Christmas event. Don't expect to get far on the first day/night. Expect slow times and possibly server down time. Expect ot get your fair chance to get the items and take part in the event. Expect jerks and gloaters. Expect late comers who whine. Most of all, TRY to have fun and enjoy the event. Some will love it, all will have their complaints. Just make the best of it. I hope their is something as fun as the Zap, Probe Bump game from Halloween! 3 days readers! Be patient and be ready!
