I just took action to end the brutal slaughter of Alaska's wolves through aerial gunning at Save Wolves , and I hope you'll join me.
More than 150 wolves have already been shot dead under the state's brutal aerial gunning program so far this year. The Alaska Board of Game allows marksmen shoot wolves from aircraft, or use low-flying airplanes to chase the wolves, run the helpless creatures to exhaustion, then gun them down at point-blank range once they're too tired to run any further.
So far, the Bush administration has refused to use its power to stop the slaughter of these magnificent animals.

Please stop this aerial gunning. It is nothing more than a trophy "hunt". There is nothing fun about aerially running down a creature till it is exahuasted and cannot run anymore, then HELPLESSLY shot and kill this animal. Wolves, bears, and large cats that suffer these encounters with the trophy hunters should be put to a HAULT. It is UNFAIR. It is not worth the money some of these hunters pay..to "hunt" down an animal that has not REAL human purpose to serve unlikme an elk, deer, or caribou. Shooting and killing a wolf, bear, or large cat is just going after their pelts--A TROPHY.
Please..stop this unfair and depleting gunning down to the Alaskian creatures, mainly the Wolves and Bears.
What would you do if YOU were placed in the position of a frightened, exahuasted wolf or bear that knew he or she was about to be shot--for no reason at all? Ask that to yourself and think about it. Also think about this; its like another human killing another human. What is the family going to do? What sort of pain and surrfering did this killing do to that family? If you were killed without reason aftering being chased down, how would your family feel about it?
Think about it.
Please stop this unfair killing.
They, the animals, do not deserve it.
Neither do human beings that killed for no reason.
