Chapter 17:left for dead

Me and Meist were close to their base"just around this turn"meist said we came around a corner but...no covenent I jumped down to check out the base I told Meist to be careful and ran to the base.Their base was like a skyscraper reaching to the sky with slants on each side for going up.I ran to the base and up the slant but when i got up there it was not pretty the covenent were eliminated dead alien bodies all around me.Hmm seems one is still alive i rushed over"what happened here"i said"robots with long legs they over threw us their were less they took some of us I think they use living things as fuel"he spoke"they seemed more powerful after taking us you should leave go now!""ok seeyah"i ran up anouther slant to where i seen a banshee.When i reached the top i seen meist.He was surrounded by robots like the ones I seen back at the ship and probably the same one that eliminated the covenent"meist!"I threw my arm ou and like that a blaze of fire came flying toward meist and became a circle shape and burning away the robots in seconds "get up here meist were leaving".
