Today's schedule in school was completely messed up. The reason was of an assembly for Rachel's Challenge. Rachel's Challenge is a program based on the Columbine shootings in 1999. Its name comes from the first victim of the shooting, Rachel Scott.
The assembly was very touching; It was so touching that you could say that I cried.
Throughout the assembly, Craig Scott, Rachel's brother, gave everyone five challenges:
1. Eliminate Prejudice by looking for the best in others
2. Dare to dream - Set Goals - Keep a journal
3. Choose your influences - Input determines output
4. Kind words - Small acts of kindness = huge impact
5. Start a chain reaction with family and friends
