Came back from Chapman at 1 something and omigawd. It was SOOOOOOOOO fun!!!

So, the first night was to get situated. Julie, Courtney, Elise, and Gabi were in one room. Eleanor, Maya, Amanda, and Livy were in another room. Then Alison, Carolyn, Ellen, and I were in another room. The guys don't count 'cause they're on the third story. AH HAH HAH HAH. Anywho, by the time we had left...Julie, Courtney, Elise, and Gabi were still in one room but on the other hand...Eleanor, Livy, and me were in one room whereas Ellen, Carolyn, Maya, and Alison were in another. Confusing? I think so, 'specially when I woke up and Livy was in the other bed. @__@; Yeah. You shoulda seen the other nights. Omigawd. It was like...one of those old slapstick routines where people run around rooms.
Saturday
So, the first night I was freaking out 'cause I had to compete the next day. Omigawd, I was soooooo worried and sooooooo hyperventilating. I think I've developed a nervous gum chewing habit. I went through TWO packs on the Saturday we competed. Ye gads!
Anywho, Broken Box was hilarious. We had 7 people competing and 20 people total. During my presentation for the set design...Broken Box DOMINATED the room. Literally. They took up three fourths of that place! It was HILARIOUS. I was presenting in this small classroom area and the judges were SOOOO intimidating. I mean, really, you have NO idea.
As I was presenting, this girl that, who was also competing(scheduled to present last of the three that day), was giving me this loathesome stare the whole time. It didn't add to my overall confidence level. This other guy there, though, he was competing too and he was nice. He even came up after my design and told me how my set was really cool and well done. ^^ That encouraged me and I totally gave him this look that said, "Omigawd, thank you soo much and I'll love you forever, I'm so grateful." Then today or so, Mrs.Moran told me that during my presentation ((which I only stared at the lead judge Paul DeDoe)) they were exchanging looks with their supporters that said, "AGH, SCR00ED!!!" Oh, right, to the chase.

You have no idea how happy I feel. I felt that my set((crooked and dying as it was)) totally didn't stand a chance. But I was the only one that did Cymbelline. The play that moves from a palace, to a room in Italy, to a cave, to a prison cell, and then looping around into a tent. EVERYONE did Richard the Third. BUWAH HAH HAH HAH HAH!!! Except this one((and only)) costume design. There were six technicals and one was costume.
Then that night we ordered pizza. SOOOO much pizza. You have NO idea. We bought SEVEN boxes of pizza and pigged OUT((while watching Toy Story 2, oh yeah, we kick a**.))
Sunday
We went to Disneyland on Sunday. Omigawd, I love that place. It was SOOO fun! The guys((Ian, Max, Scott, and Alex)) were flipping OUT, they were so excited. Alright, so we woke up disgustingly early and got to Disneyland BEFORE they were even open. It was great. Our group was Gabi, Eleanor, Elise, Courtney, Carolyn, Scott, Ian, Alex, Max, and me. Yeah, we had a hideously large group at first((it got larger as the day went on)).
Anywho, we got into the gates and RAN. @___@;; We literally barrelled through the park((you're not allowed to run, actually)) and charged to the lines. I swear it's a record, there were NO lines. It's probably 'cause we ran in and bulldozed the people trying to get into the lines. Ah hah...hah...
So when we started, there was no rain. In fact, it was ALMOST sunny. By the time we were ready to head back and take a nap...well, it was raining. Hard. So we came back, ordered delivery, and then napped. Well, Courtney, Elise, and I didn't wanna nap with da dudes and dudettes, so we traipsed our way downstairs to nap instead. It was fun. I love you, Livy!
So at four we((Max, Eleanor, Livy, Courtney, Elise, Gabi, Aaron and me)) went BACK to Disneyland and rode on all the rides AGAIN. Ha hah~! Then at eight or something, we((Gabi, Elise, Courtney, and me)) went back and placed all our wet and dripping clothes in a dryer. @__@ We had gone at four...in the POURING rain. It was exciting. Excitingly like pneumonia. x__X;
So after that, we((Courtney, Elise, Gabi, and me)) went back at around ten, met with Eleanor and Julie, then stayed until 11:45PM. ((Aaron joined us later.)) We rode all the rides again. Again. I love Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean, and the Haunted Mansion. I would ride them again if I could. ((I also rode the Matterhorn a gajillion times...but that's not as exciting.))
Yeah, I had a fun time. ^^
