Ramblings...ventings...randomings...Just everyday junk and things that happen in my isolated little LIFE >:]
Stage Prop
So today I stayed after school to take pictures of the musical for the newspaper and for the drama people. Everything is going really good, getting so really great shots of the cast, and actually watched some of the play. Anyways Intermission comes around and Kalli has to use the camera I was using for a few shots of her own of the main cast. She goes into the dressing room; I go with her to get the camera. Umm I can hear out on stage that Intermission was about to end, so I grab the camera and run out of the room and into the stage area then on stage.
It’s completely empty of people and cast members. I dash across but slow down because I see some puddles of water on the stage. So, just as I am slowing down, something I guess grabs my attention towards the back curtain and suddenly

WHAM!

The archway into Oz falls over and the top SOLID FREAKING WOOD part slams into my chest and right arm. Umm running plus a falling 45 pound piece of wood that’s top heavy is like getting hit in the chest by a bus or having someone take a steel bat and hit you in the chest a few times. So yeah I fall to the floor, never hitting my head, BUT OMFG!!! I heard myself hit the ground. Sounded like bricks hitting the ground with a little flesh here and there.
People are running over to me as I am on the stage, crumpled up, screaming. Someone near me accidently dumps their water all over my leg and I’m just like "WTF!! +scream+ GET THE HELL AWAY FROM ME!!"
People back off and Ms. Ludlow and some other woman come over to me, they check for things broken or any minor injures... It took me a few moments to catch my break and get enough endorphins going into my body to hide some of the major pain so I could get up and get off stage.
Oh yeah...first thing I do before i get off stage is grab the camera and make sure that it hasnt been harmed or anything.
YUPP! I’m a photographer!! :3! (Rich agrees...but he would be guilty of it toooooo)
Anyways... I get off stage and go into Lud's office; two firemen come into the office, get my stats and stuff, check me for any painful areas, and so on. Then they have two EMTs come check me out, my mum is soon to follow into the room.
Downside is that when mum came into the room...she was crying...and I started to cry. Crying at the moment is MORE than painful...x_X
So she stops crying and the EMTs do their job and ask if I needed to go to the hospital and I say now after getting little insight from one of the EMTs.
I get home and take a shower. A hot shower...
Then have my babe call me so I can let him know.
X_x
I’m not going to school tomorrow I think,
I’m in soooooo much ******** pain right now...
My chest is killing me...boobs too.
And hand is swollen from blocking the prop from hitting my head.
And my elbow is in pain from getting a nail or screw to the flesh!
My knee is throbbing...and bruising from the fall.
My once upon a time cracked ribs are killing me
x-x
******** HELL!

Pain not good.

BUT its okay all ^_^ I’m okay and well!
Just in a lot of pain and if it doesn’t get any better...
I will go to the one place I DETEST
The Hospital.
To get some x-rays okay??

C.

(Rich I love you thanks for being a sweet heart about everything. *kisses*)

eek OMFH!!! I didn't realize that situation was so horrible. You mentioned to me a few weeks ago about an accident that happened where your hand got hurt, but when this actually happened, neither you or Mom mentioned it. I had no idea. How painful and embarassing. redface

I remember when I was in 8th or 9th grade, in PE class, we were in two parralel lines facing the basketball hoop practicing hoop shots. Two girls ran towards the hoop at the same time and bonked heads so hard, they both fell unconscious. The teacher kept her cool, but we could tell she was on the verge of tears. An ambulance came and tended to the two girls. One of them was Leon Clark's daughter, Diane. Neither one of them came to until they were almost to EIRMC. That was definitely an interesting day.
