Every time I look into your eyes,
Can you see what’s glittering in mine?
Looks deceive, all the pain I’m going through
But I smile and wave it off as fine.
I want to take your hand in mine
Instead I let you turn away
I want to hold you close,
To never let you go,
But now I watch you leave,
Trying to hold these tears at bay
I wave my hand; I smile brightly
But on the inside I feel myself dying.
I don’t want to watch you leave again!
I want shout out the feelings deep inside!
I want to leave all my inhibitions behind
And run after you…
To take your hand…
To hold you close to me…
To let the world fade all around me
So you can finally see
The love here shining in my eyes…
