I had this long paragraph typed up for why, but then my ******** internet closed, so I'll shorthand what it said.
My boyfriend is currently getting discharged for his knee. This is because his kneecap is currently rotating to the side of his knee, causing him extreme pain, especially when he runs or does anything too strenous to it. He has been told he was going to be home during mid-February, then late February, then the first week of March (1st-3rd), and then the second week of March (4th-10th). The last one that he was told was supposed to be the final change, so he and I made plans for my Spring Break, which is the third week of March (12th-17th), to celebrate him getting back. Now, they are saying he will definately be out of there by the 20th. You know, after the dates we had set.
Sadly, this doesn't surprise me or make me angry because I figured this s**t would happen, just because I was finally looking forward to seeing him again, thinking that this would be the time the military finally got their ******** schuedule straight. I was looking forward to spending my Spring Break with him more than I had ******** looked forward to anything else... Oh, well. Teaches me not to put so much hope into something, doesn't it?
On a side note, my dad still can't get it through his thick head that the military isn't for everyone and still is talking down about Ryan's discharge, even though he has a legitamate reason! He acts like Ryan is sinning against life itself just because he is getting discharged... *sighs* Whatever...

I dunno why I bother, though, since no one reads this thing...
