We are the dreamers of dreams, and the world is a murderer of those dreams. Will you let them die?
I wonder... why is that no matter how hard we endeavor that some things will always be beyond victory? We are constantly infuriated and depressed by our shortcomings, sometimes it’s enough to drive one mad. What if we were to live trying our hardest, but expecting to fail? I admit the idea doesn’t sound plausible, one does not go with the other. But it is perfectly sound in the end. If we give everything we have, and have low expectations, there can be no failure. We are either proven correct, or pleasantly surprised. There is no let down. But then, wouldn’t expecting failure be a failure in and of itself? Either way we are faced with our own defeats, what changes is our perspective. Perhaps expecting failure will bring it about? So where do we aim in life, and more importantly how do we cope when we miss?

because human shortcomings are the only things most are capable of. why do you think they call them "miracles"?
