Looking In The Mirror :: If you look at the picture above, it's similar, but she has dark circles under her eyes and a few scars on her skin. They're all over her back and a few are on her neck.

- Once Upon A Time :: Lilium was born into a renowned family. They were potions masters who grew to hate Severus Snape as he soon surpassed them. She was raised to hate Snape--which was beaten into her--and did hate him until her education at Hogwarts began and she was sorted into Slytherin. Therefore, she grew to love the 'Dungeon Bat'. She also loved potions.
Shortly before her first year at Hogwarts, her parents decided to test an experimental potion on her. It was supposed to sort her darker side from her lighter side. Unfortunately, it worked. Instead of a peaceful balance of the sides, she gained a Jekyll and Hyde condition where she would randomly transform. She managed to invent a temporary cure and rushed out of class almost daily for the first few weeks to take it.
Finally, her Hyde seemed to settle. However, she didn't lower guard and simply suffered in silence. It was a good thing, because the attempts resumed one day. She didn't manage to stop in time and was apprehended. The only ones who learned that it was her were Dumbledore and McGonagall and Snape wasn't informed. It was hard to keep it secret after that incident, so she started to withdraw.
Directly after graduating from Hogwarts, Lilium was beaten by her father for her grades, although they were brilliant. She had gotten just under Severus Snape's grades in Potions. That beating kept her from potions other than her temprorary cure for a few years, but she picked up six years after her graduation with little of the fire for Potions she had when she started to attend Hogwarts.
For three years, Lilium searched for a Potions Master or Mistress that would take her as an apprentice. She had exhausted all but one source of salvation and was loathe to bother him. It took her a week to send the letter by owl and she did so regretfully, waiting to hear the reply...
A Little Attitude :: Lilium is easily frightened due to the array of punishments and abuse that she gained as a child. If anyone approached her with their arms not at their sides or in their pockets, she would shy away from them or leave the room and put a door between them. She also tends to hide in small places when she's frightened and stay away from people. She's obedient to anyone who asks her to do anything that wouldn't interfere with her pride and works very badly with insults/criticism.
