STAGE II

BlackRose slowly opened her eyes as a light surrounded her...she was being healed by someone...but who? She began to sit up thinking with confidence that Kite saved her. Smiling and thankful, she tilted her head upwards to see... "Balmung?!!" BlackRose said shocked. Her smile immediately faded. "What are you doing here?!" spat BlackRose. She didn't like Balmung since the first time they meet. After all, he didn't trust her and Kite since they were always at the site of problems, but they didn't try to start bad things in The World. Kite couldn't help that misfortune followed them because of the bracelet, but they did there best to put an end to all the weird and bad things that happened; Balmung just didn't believe them. "So this is what I get as a thank-you?" Balmung shot back.
BlackRose just stared at Balmung defiantly and harshly muttered, "Thanks." "Your quite welcome," Balmung replied with a smirk. Oh! She couldn't stand him! "Come off it Balmung! What's really going on? You wouldn't just save me for no reason!" BlackRose retorted. Balmung quickly became serious and his face showed a sign of worry. "Look, I was searching for you and Kite...I believe you two are the only ones that can help me now," Balmung stated. BlackRose's mouth hung open. Did her ears deceive her, or had Balmung actually admitted that he needed help? "You need us to help you?!" she said in awe. "I, I tried to get rid of the problem on my own at first, but I couldn't. I even asked the administrators for assistance, and they helped for a time, but then they wanted to cover everything up. No one can deny though, The World is effecting the outside world too." Balmung finished solemnly. He looked away, and it was without a doubt he was thinking of his friend Orca.
BlackRose glanced down at her feet, a little ashamed that she had been so harsh to Balmung. In a way, he was like her and Kite as well. "We'll help you, I promise," BlackRose said. "And, I'm sorry for the way I treated you earlier," she added. Balmung gave a genuine smile and said, "Thank-you BlackRose." No way! Now he was thanking her! BlackRose's cheeks felt hot. She was blushing! She turned to the side so Balmung wouldn't see. What was wrong with her!? Trying to get over this sudden feeling, BlackRose spoke up and said, "But how can we help you?" "You and Kite have both experienced the bad effects of The World. Since you two have been fighting against those effects, and Kite has the bracelet, I figured both of you could help me more than anyone else," he finished. For some odd reason, BlackRose felt like she was now obligated to help Balmung whatever the dangers were. "We'll do our best to help you then. But right now I don't know where Kite is. Before I got attacked by...well whatever it was, I had been searching for Kite," BlackRose said. "That thing was a strong level monster that shouldn't have been in the beginner stage of MacAnu. It's one of the effects that The World is making, and I think it's linked to the comas. About Kite though, I tried contacting him but I couldn't, " claimed Balmung. "What? You too? That means Kite could be in serious trouble!" worry creeping into her voice. "I'll do another search. brb," Balmung typed.
