RP Starters (and other random writings)
The sounds of excited giggling rang through the white walls of the underground complex. The small girl, who couldn't be more than four years old, was running down the halls staring at all the experiements. Her father walked at a slower pace, but made sure the small girl was always in his sights. An older man with shock white hair, green-blue eyes and a lab coat that was two sizes too big walked beside the girl's father. They were talking about everything and nothing. Simply enjoying the downtime they had right now.

The girl's eyes lit up as she caught sight of a boy about her age, maybe a bit older. "Ah, daddy, why is that boy in there?" Se asked, already walking up to the large liquid filled tube. The two men followed her, instantly knowing she was talking about their greatest creation. The older scientist spoke up, looking at the boy in question. "He is in there because he would die in the air we breathe. He is not.." The girl's father put a hand on the older man's shoulder, silencing him. "Well dear, what Dr. Mendel means is that the boy is very sick and we are trying to fix him."

The girl nodded, staring at the boy's closed eyes. His light brown hair swayed slightly in the liquid he was submerged in. The only sign that he was still alive was the slight rise and fall of his chest.

Months passed, with the girl visiting as often as her father would let her. She would sit and stare at the boy, everyday wondering when he would awaken. The scientists in the facility had similar thoughts, only wondering if he would even live.

One day, as the girl and her father were just entering the facility they noticed something different. Hordes of people were rushing into the boy's room, and then running out madly babbling about "it worked, it really worked."

The girl ran ahead of her dad, rushing into the room only to stop dead in her tracks. Her silent friend, was now awake and staring at her with the most pericing crimson eyes. He brought a hand up and placed in on the glass that contained him. The girl stared transfixed at his eyes, her foot moving of thier own accord. She stopped in front of the glass and placed her right hand in the same place as his.

That, as they say, was the begining of the end

For the next year the girl spent as much time as she could with the boy, who the scientists had dubbed 'Delta'. She spent much of their time together talking about her school and her friends from school. Delta couldn't talk to her, but he was always a good listener, nodding at the right times.

Unknowingly, the girl was doing something to this weapon made flesh. She was bonding with him on a spiritual level, their souls and hearts becoming forever entangled. Delta would instantly perk up when he saw the girl, a wide smile appearing on his pale face.

One fateful day, as the girl was coming to the facility, the girls father and other scientists were running tests on Delta, and wouldn't let her in to see him. She screamed and begged as her father began pulling her away from the room. Delta looked up, hearing her cries. He pounded against the glass tube he was in, causing small spider-web like cracks to begin to form. He hit the glass again, shattering it completely and dropping to the white floor.

Everyone in the room froze, Listening to Delta gasp for breath. He began pushing himself up on still shakey legs. His eyes found the girl's, anger the only thing in his mind. They were keeping her from him, his "______". They would pay for trying to keep him away from her.

He took one more deep breath, then let out an earsplitting scream. His fist sound. "Stop him this istant. Delta can not be alowed to escape." Said Dr. Mendel from an intercom system. Delta's head snapped up to where the voice had come from. A few guards poured in now with dart guns, pointing them at the boy. He had spent his time in that tube learning from everyone around him and the computers he had been able to access. So, he did the most logical thing he could think of.

His mouth curved into a smirk, taking another deep breath through his nose. His mouth moved, almost like he was trying to taste the words he wanted. "Try it." He challeneged them, walking over to a discared lab coat and slipping it on. The room was stunned, he still looked only six or seven, but his voice sounded like he sould be almost sixteen. "Well, are you going to shoot or not?" He asked, walking slowly toward the guards closest to his friend. His friend's father though decided enough was enough and rushed the boy, hoping to protect his only daughter. "Stay away from her!" He shouted, rearing back to punch the weapon. Delta, going by instinct, stepped under the punch, then jumped up, grabbing the man's head in the process. "Bye." He said coldly, snapping the man's head clean off.

His friend's scream stopped him dead, and the look in her eyes before she fainted made him want to die. So, he did the only thing he could think of, he ran. He was gone so fast that Dr. Mendel blinked and missed him leaving. "Damnit, back to square one now." He said, pounding on a computer console.

Weeks passed, the girl never went back to the facility, didn't even remember it. Doctor's said she had a type simply blocked the memories to keep the pain away. Delta was never found, at least not for long.

Almost twelve years later, a teenager with descriptions that match the young boy to a T has been reported seen in parts of California. Back where it all began.
Rumor has it that the teen had started going by the name Taylor.

((Um, sorry about the length. lol. Um, if you wanna rp this, please be the girl. Remember, their connection is still there, she just doesn't remember.))
