Wow, I did something I thought I'd never do: get my avatar a new haircut! gonk
And I seriously thought I'd choose one salon hairstyle for my character once and for all and stick to it. Why? These were my reasons:
[x] The salon only hair is expensive. Every time you get a new hairdo, you'll lose the older one.
[x] I seriously loved the light grey silken hair with this dark skin. I thought I'd keep it, like, forever.
[x] Somehow, I feel the avatar's hair, eyes and skin determine its... well... character. Like, I dunno, those things should always stay the same. Stupid, I know.
So why did I end up changing my hair after all? Because I just bought the Winter Rose, equipped it in a pose I thought I'd never use because it was so fugly, messed around in my inventory for a little bit... and realized I would have the perfect avi if my hair was purple.
*sigh*
Does this mean I'm slowly becoming an AT'er?
Lessons learned:
[x] Don't nurture any naïve, idealistic RP-like ideas of a character whose hair, eyes and skin will never change. You'll end up selling your soul at some point.
[x] If you get an avatar you really like, you'll be throwing your hard-earned gold away like crazy, no matter how stingy you're trying to be.
