My Brother with Father
Why does my brother, bicker so much with Dad, and still keep me glad.
I watch their fights with words, that could make an old coot laugh,
Yet when the day is gone, they still bicker in their bath!
My mother just nods her head, and says there’s not to do,
Men will be men, but father and son will still rule.
Here will be my thumb that will tell yay or nay, but when the time comes,
I’ll raise my middle finger towards what they say!
