My People of this Earth
It was a time when the earth was bare, and my people ran free,
They roamed the earth and cared for it, in many ways to keep.
Things were great until the ‘people’ came, and things began to rain.
We were pushed out and killed, just because we were strange, but still we fought, even if though there was no hope left to gain.
Now my people are broken, and left with nothing of value,
Even though we were brought to birth, we still came from this earth.
May our day come again when we are left alone to speak,
And those with despise us, may be gone from this land in peace.
