Love and Hate
Here be love and stones, mixed with explosive hate,
Where beautiful trees and seeds, will soon begin to die.
Why was my family so harsh to one another,
And created such tension, which led to their down fall?
Yet I’m alive to tell our story, and remind me of its pain.
Even though I’m an old man and have too many gray hairs to count,
I will still treat my family with love born from hate.
