Eclipse Stephanie Meyer Book Signing Event at Borders
Yep, this happened in Torrance at my favorite place to buy my books. I will give a short summary since I am quite horrible at this kind of stuff.

So, I arrived at Borders a few minutes before seven at night. It took more than five or so minutes to find a parking spot. May not seem like much, but I definitely did not want to waste any time. Plus, there was going to be a huge amount of people at the store hovering around. I started walking along with my sister, mom, dad to where Stephanie Meyer would be. I saw a ridiculous amount of girls there. Ugh. Plus, a lot of which I would never hang with. One girl complimented my "Bite Me" Edward fan club shirt. Yayness. She was the only one to say it. Grr...Moving on...Stephanie talked about the book and answered some questions. My favorite answer from her was about how her husband thinks he is like all the male characters in the Twilight series. Haha. I loved that. Also, when a lady asked how many Edward fans were in the building, I heard of pack of girlish screams, more than that. I wish I could scream like that. Haha. Anyway, when she asked for Jacob fans, I heard a loud roar. Damn, so many fangirls. Too many in fact. Heh. I do like Jacob though, but I lean more towards Edward.

It was time for the actual book signing thing. I should have asked for a post it for my name to be written on it, because Stephanie Meyer would have an easier time personalizing the books. I have bad news along the way, peeps. As I was waiting for people to move their butts out of the way so the line can be arranged the right way, we were getting lost. A while after, I was informed that those who had blue wristbands had to wait for more updates on the line. (I waited far too long.) My dad was feeling sick, so my mom took him home...leaving my sister with me in a store full of people. Nice...I asked a worker if the ones who had the blue wristbands can go in line now, and he said they were all the way near the windows. Thanks so much was what I wanted to say but had too much on my mind.

Now, I will talk about the line. Yep, it was long but not too long. I had to jog to where the place between those with purple and blue bands were. This helpful lady informed me that she was the last "blue" in line. I wanted to say more than "Thank you" but I had no money on me. *laughs* Yeah, she saved my life. So, I was close to having my Eclipse book signed by favorite author of all time. I walked and walked then asked a lady for my post it. I also kinda rudely asked if I can cut in line in front of this girl. I knew she was a little disappointed. Sorry! I needed a place in line. I wish I could apologize better for that act.

I finally had my book signed my Stephanie Meyer. She said, "Hi, Emily" or something like that. Shoot. I should have taped the thing or taken a picture. Oh well. Her signature is pretty cool. Only initials, but still awesome. I'm glad it was personalized. Someone should have told me to bring all the books in the series though.... Here comes the bad news. This lady next to Stephanie Meyer kept looking at me weird. Was it my horrible haircut? Probably. Second, the lady passing out buttons asked "Edward or Jacob?" I asked, "Can I have two?" She rudely answered. "No." She said it in a mean way. I said, "Aww. Okay. Edward." The lady I hate gave me the button and I said, "Thank you" with a short of laugh, embarassed. I should have not asked. Ugh, I wish I could do that over again. Of course she would not give more buttons out. They probably had them counted or something according to how many bought the book. Sorry. We waited for my mother to come by and pick us up.

That was my day. Interesting? Hope so. I had fun at least. Those who were nice made my day. At least Stephanie Meyer said "Hi" to me. Haha. I'm a loser. Should have talked more. Well, thanks for reading. I appreciate comments.

(P.S. I wore my "I <3 Edward button. xD)

Hee hee..."short" summary.

Sounds like a good day to me! I think all the good stuff would make you completely forget about the bad stuff. Don't fret about your haircut (oh, I just remembered, I heard some girls laughing when I was walking out of my hair salon, I didn't pay much attention since I didn't know exactly what my hair looked like. The dude forgot to give back my glasses and I didn't look after that)

Maybe that one girl who commented on your shirt was the only one who happened to pan around her and notice it. Pretty cool of her.

I'm sure the girl you cut in front of wasn't THAT disappointed as you think. Maybe she was just unsettled, un-spacing-out.

What do you mean by "personalized"?

Well, there must've been loads of people before you, so the lady must've heard "can I have 2?" loads of times. She just needs a longer temper. That's her own beef.

I thought I suggested to bring more than one book...maybe I/you forgot that I did...if I did...

Haha, thanks.

Personalized meaning she writes the book out to you, like your name.

Oh, I got confused. It seemed like she only put her initials.
