oh, I've neglected you! >.<
I haven't posted here in a LONG while. And instead of it being "my life's just boring now" it's more like "my life's been so busy, but in a good way."
so, let's see...
I started high school a few weeks ago. My school's really great! Like... all my teachers are really great, and people are really nice, and I finally get to go to school with kate! (WIN!)
Nothing really mentionable happened though, so I'll just talk about my teachers and schedule and stuff.
1st period: stage craft
this class is really fun. We get to like, work the behind the scenes stuff like hanging the lights, working the lines, stuff like that. The teacher's your average drama teacher- fun and crazy, but it's expected.
2nd period: PE
this is just about the only class I don't like. I never like PE. My teacher's weird. He's OCD and never wears nike with anything else but nike. So he has to wear like nike shirt, nike shorts, nike shoes, and nike socks, or else he goes crazy! And he always has to check and make sure he locked his car and what not. >.<
3rd period: Chemistry Honors
This is a very hard class. Harder than Geometry Honors! But I'm glad I'm taking it. We do like a new lab experiment every week! It's so fast-paced! The teacher is crazy. She's this old chemist who has an accent (I think maybe a New York accent? Somewhere on the east coast.)and she's OBSESSED with purple! The whole front of her room is purple! In general, she's just really cool and odd. XD
4th period: English
this class is pretty normal. I could see the teacher teaching at a middle school or elementary school because she's just SO FOCUSED ON RELATIONSHIPS!! >.< This quarter's theme is relationships, so just about everything we write about has to be about that. Half the things I write are full of shaving cream, though. There's just no way to answer these prompts seriously! D:
5th period: Japanese
My Japanese teacher is very japanese. She's okay, but it's just a pretty cool class in general. We watched this J-TV movie with some famous comedian in it. It was actually pretty depressing. It's about some guy who has to go fight in WWII right after he gets married, before they even get to go on their honey-moon. sad
6th period: Geometry Honors
This class is so much fun! He kinda reminds me of my grandpa, or maybe even my dad, because he's very into math. It's nice though, because that spirit really gets me motivated to learn the stuff, and we get into some pretty fun concepts like node theory! XD I heard from Delphine that his class gets off topic a lot, so I think it'll be fun. We aren't getting as much homework as people were saying we would have. But that's a good thing. smile
7th period: History
My history class is also fun, as far as history class goes. my teacher is making it really technology oriented, so we spent a whole block period blogging! :O it was awesome. She's also into Anime, but she likes the old-school stuff. cool
So far, school's been really great, with no real drama. I've been having so much fun! I feel like a geek, but high school really is a billion times better than middle school! *dances around with joy*
