An interesting scenario for Eiwen
Eiwen lifted his head and smiled serenely. 'Very well then, Abbie....' Did she actually seem embarassed? 'Hm...'

He looked at her downcast face and frowned. 'Now we can't have that...' He got up and trotted over to her and licked her ears, then he rested his face level with her own so that their noses touched. He gazed into her silvery eyes and whined softly. They were deep, vacant eyes as if she'd seen too much and yet knew so little about the world. 'Why do act so lonely? Do I trouble you perhaps? If so all you need to do is simply tell me and I will let you be.'

His expression softened and he hummed softly, closing his eyes. It was a strange, melodic tune that he'd heard his mother sing to him when he had trouble falling asleep as a pup. The lyrics told the old story of a Fae lord who fell in love with a fair wolf maiden. They'd vowed eternal love to each other but their separate families would not have it, so they were split apart. To end their suffering, the young lovers left the world they knew behind and traveled to a distant land shrouded in secrets and shadows to be together, but could never to return home.

It was a bittersweet end but it had always been his favorite. Now he shared his secret song with this she-wolf he barely knew for it was the only song he knew to comfort his soul when he felt the overbearing loneliness creep into his heart. His humming rose and fell with a fluid grace that felt both erie and calm in the minor key.

An odd feeling came over him and as he hit the last note he lifted his muzzle to the sky and howled the final chord, filling the trees with his powerful voice. A small tendril of smoke rose from the dry leaves under his paws leading to a small, flickering flame which rose between his toes and crept up his foreleg.

As the note faded away his eyes came level to Abbie's again and a fire burned in his gaze as if a flame had kindled in his eyes as well. He looked into the she-wolf's eyes and finally saw the orange glow around him reflected there.

'...No!' He stumbled back, leaving smoldering pawprints in the leaves. 'This isn't supposed to happen....!' He backed away further, hissing furiously to the flames to banish them. The small flames rose as they heard him respond. 'No! I told you to stop!' Eiwen hissed the language of fire, but it only further enticed the flames. Red petals of fire blossomed along his legs as they embraced his voice. 'No!'
