Sinri padded slently up to the front gate of her new home. 'Hmm... well I guess this will do...' She pushed open the iron bars which screeched in protest as she slipped through lithely. She walked along the old, stone path and under the grand arches. She passed into the old courtyard and she stopped before the staue of a lonely angel. Here she sat on a stone bench and stretched out along the cold marble beneath her. Her crimson tresses of hair spilled over her back and as she pulled her legs up her deep green dress hugged her curves pleasantly. A raven cackled up in a naked tree off to her right.
She lay there, taking in her surroundings with a bland expression of disinterest upon her elegant, yet scarred face. 'Anyone here?' she called and heard the echo bounce back and forth in the chill, misty air.
