My last entry was all about our dull "celebration" of Xmas... and now I feel that writing that was the cause of the trouble that's coming.
Alright, maybe I'm making a big deal of this, but to an internet nerd like myself, it's pretty much the worst thing that could happen.
My father, who will be turning fifty on the 28th of December, has decided to book a holiday in Spain for the 23rd to the 30th, which is probably going to comfortably cover the Xmas event in Gaia.
Why has he done this? Last year, his family (his mother had ten kids, so he's got a big family) threw a surprise party for his brother Rick on his sixtieth. And my father doesn't want that, so he's just going to run away.
Spain of all places. It's pretty much the chavviest holiday resort in the world. He couldn't even make it Portugal, which appears to be the most dangerous place to go on holiday if you're British, what with that Madeleine kid getting abducted ages ago and then those parents drowning...
I'm going to be living in an internet café. I don't care how much money I waste, there is no way I'm going for a week without the Gaia Xmas event.
And I'm going to have to get one of those socket adapters so I can plug in my hair straighteners, there is no way I'm walking around with short, wavy hair.
I looked at my passport photo today, I have long wavy hair with an Alice band taking it all from my face, I have no colour whatsoever, you can barely even see my nose, I look like an alien. Oh, and of course I look stoned, which is pretty much my trademark in any photographs taken of me. I'm a naturally lazy person, I keep my eyelids half closed all the time.
It's going to be crap. neutral
I can't be bothered to think of anything for that holiday item design contest, I'm just not a festive person I'm afraid, and everything has already been done before. I'll leave this one to somebody else.
Don't forget to click the image in my signature, register on the website and become a fan of that band, You And What Army, so they can get back in the mobileAct Unsigned competition!
