Chapter 2 Continues.....



Ashrad got to the room and saw that chiaosy remains asleep and she got to her bed. At the next day chiaosy wakes up and saw the sun light coming from the window. She gets up from the bed and wash her face. after that she head toward the dinning room and saw breakfast on the table.
Chiaosy: great! im first at the table.
She start eating. After a few moments Exerion and dark faith came in too and saw her eating.
Exerion: you woke up early today!
Chiaosy: good morning to you too!
D.faith: how did You sleep?
chiaosy: i slept like a baby! suprisly ashrad was sleeping when i woke up and thats very unusual of her.
D.faith: really?
Exerion: she must be tired thats all.
Chiaosy: perhaps!
At that moment the duke came to the dinning room.
Alford: good morning to all of you! how did you sleep?
D.faith: ...
Exerion: we had a good night sleep thanks.
Alford: there is no need to thanks.
D.faith: were u outside?
Alford: yes, i was attending the town's needs. and now that you are here i want to ask a favor from you?
D.faith: a favor?
Alford: yes. you see, since a few weeks ago we had some troubles with a group of mercenaries that have threaten our town. so far we have kept them outside of the towns area. And today a soldier came and told me that they have found their whereabouts.
Exerion: you need us to take care of them?
Alford: well yes! I cant send our soldiers there because then i will have to leave this place defense less and i though i could count with your help.
D.faith: it seems like we have to take care of them before they come a treath to the cathedral.
Exerion: you have a point there!
chiaosy: we have to wait to the others...
At that moment ashrad came in to the room.
Ashrad: with the 4 of us should be fine. lucian is not here and brack is with the others knights.
Alford: are you sure of this?
Ashrad: yes! we will work faster if only the 4 of us go there.
Exerion: even so, lets take a few knights with us just in case.
Ashrad: very well. ill tell them to get ready.
D.faith: ill go with you.
He standed up and both of them head to the soldiers quarters and picked some the knights that wanted to go with them. after a moment both exerion and chiaosy were waiting for them at the entrance of town. Alford came with a soldier.
Alford: he is going to take you to the place that they been spoted.
D.faith: exelent. we will return as soon as posible.
At that time brack came and saw all of them.
Brack: where are u heading?
Ashrad: to take care of a job. You and lucian stay here and secure the town. well be back soon.
Brack: fine! be carefull.
Ashrad gave the signe and they start moving forth. They travel for a couples of hours until they got to the foot of a mountain.
Soldier: their up there!
D.faith: hmmm... we could....
Ashrad: wait! dont do anything.
Exerion: is something wrong?
Ashrad: yes. by the look of that fortress up there id say that they know that we are down here and that they might be expecting us.
Exerion: how do you know?
Ashrad: call it a hunch.
Chiaosy: what should we do?
Ashrad: let the knights remain here with our horses and we will sneak from another place. they will be distracted by our soldiers and tehy wont do anything until they move.
D.faith: seem like You know about this!
Ashrad: yeah, sort of. come follow me.
All fo them got off their horse and Start following ashrad as they sneak into a secret passage at the back of the mountain that lead to the fortress.
Ashrad: lets climb from here this is their blind spot.
They started climbing and after a few minutes they got up and hide on a few bushes.
Exerion: look like survilance here is not that thight.
Ashrad: it isnt! these people are not from arround here or the would have known about this pasage.
D.faith: you are from arround here?
Ashrad: i grew up arround these parts. and i use to play here.
Exerion: so you dont belong to the town of crislom?
Ashrad: no. my mother and father had a house not to far from here that was destroyed by the predesesor of Alford.
D.faith: i see!
Ashrad: lets stop wasting time! come!
They head toward the fortress and d.faith got close to a wall and when a soldier came close to him, he grabbed by his neck and broke it, the he drag him out of sight. he signal the rest that it was safe to move. they got muving and chiaosy sees a soldier and he look at her. when he was going to yeld chiaosy moved so fast that he didnt see her and she hit him with her hand and send him back ward crashing him to a wall. and stab him right therem the red stripe grew a little more whn she did that and now they were a little more visible than last time.
Exerion: we should look for the leader fast.
D.faith yes i know!
Chiaosy closes her eyes and she moved her head.
Chiaosy: he is inside on the third floor.
Exerion: Ok so thats the place that we should be heading.
D.faith: lets go!
they rushed towar the fortress disposing of those who got in their way without giving their self away until they got to the thirth flor. they were to soldiers guarding the entrance and ashrad came from behind one of them and cut his troath the other see that and whe he was going to move exerion kicks him nad drop him in the floor.
exerion: dont make a sound or ill kill you at the spot!
D.faith: move your head to answer yes or no. is your leader there?
He asisted with his head. D.faith oick him up by his armor and trew him at the door breaking it the leather was with afew more plp and they was speaking when the soldier came in breaking the door and ll of them saw at the door. one try to pick his sword and a knife hit him in his left eye. ashrad looked at all of them.
Ashrad: i sugest you to stay still!
Leader: who the heck are you and how did you got here?
Ashrad: we know our way arround.
Leader: i see! you are alford's lakeys!
D.faith: no we are the holy knights of eteria.
Leader: The holy knights?
Exerion: seems like you were causing troubles, all of you are order to surrender at once. trow your weapons and you will be given a fair trial. resist and you will be executed right here.
Leader: is tha same thing, we are going to be executed even if we surrender! so we will fight for our cause!
All of them pick up their weapons and attaked them. chiaosy blocks the fist one and turn cutting his hand, d.faith just move his balde and he cutted his attacker in six parts. exerion hits his with a flail and know him down and ashrad moved and get behind the lider at that time more soldiers came in and ashrad put her sword in his neck.
Ashrad: trow down ure weapons or else he will die!!!!!
the soldier see her and they trew their weapons
leader: you're making a mistake! we are not the bad guys....
Exerion: silence! you had your chance and you wasted!
chiaosy: let them speak!
D.faith: you must know that any one that oppose the cathedral must be executed right on sight.
chiaosy: Still we should hear what they have to say.
D.faith: fine! speak up!
Chiaosy: why were you attacking Crislom?
Leader: we just wanted to overthrone the tyrant of alfrod!
Ashrad: ....
Exerion: why would you want to over throne him? he is a good leader!
Leader: great leader u said? he si nothing but a coward! he abuse of his power and if we dont do what he says he kill us!
Exerion: Thats a lie!
Leader: you are just seen what he want you to see but you have to....
Exerion: silence! we wont hear any more of youre lies!
Leader: look beneth! and you will see is not a lie.
D.faith: ....
Exerion: lets take them to town and there we will deside what to do.
Chiaosy: i think is the best!
Ashrad: tell your men to surrender or we will execute all of you here!
Leader: tell the rest to trow doen their weapons!
he said to a soldier and the soldier hestitate and then he saw that the leader said no with his head. the soldier leave the room and yell at the rest and all of em trew their weapons and opened the doors. the knight cames and they capture all of the mercenaies. soon after that they retuned to town and the prisoners were taken to the dungeons.
alford: im amazed! you did an exelent job.
D.faith: it was our duty.
Ashrad: ...
Alford: we will take care of them from here. if you excuse me i have other things to attend.
He left the place and ashrad saw d.faith.
ashrad: those plp didnt looked like mercenaries to me.
D.faith: they werent!
Ashrad: alford ...
D.faith: i know what you are going to say. i overhead your conversation with him. and im afraid there is nothing we can do without proof.
He start walking away and chiaosy got close to Ashrad.
Chiaosy: is something wrong?
Ashrad: i want to find out something and i need your help.
Chiaosy: sure! ill help you.
ashrad: we have to wait to late night.
Chiaosy: You think alford is after no good?
Ashrad: i know he is. but we need proofs first. lest rest early so we can work at night!.
Chiaosy: sure...
Both of them head to their room and waited until night fall and they sneak out of their room and head to town.....
