heart heart Life's Little Lessons...Number 3
This one is pretty scary, and I warn those who care
that you may feel a slight bit of sympathy, maybe even the need to worry
So apparently, today my little sister had a concert
and since we only live a couple blocks from the school
she was told she could walk home afterwards...
well...while she was walking home, a car came up behind her
and was slowly following her...a man rolled down his window
and tried to pick her up, yes, people still do this
i never thought it would happen to someone i knew,
someone so close to me. Luckily, she was a good girl and
remembered stranger danger, she refused to get in the car
and when the men continued to bother her, she threatened
to call the cops. The men had no way of intimidating her, THANK GOD
so they were forced to drive away. she was in sheer shock
so the whole "get the license plate" thing, didn't really hit.
My mom came and picked her up, she's fine...just very shaken
I'm scared guys...scared to live where i do... i didn't think it was
so bad we lived so close to an in and out mart with such a horrible
reputation...but other then getting robbed...at the old house
we were never afraid of stuff like this...now I'm scared s**t less
my mom's scared, and my little sister is definitely phased by it
I just can't help fearing...that I'm never going to be truly safe
Just can't help but question how our society became so wacked
that men would honestly try to pick up a 12 year old with ill intentions
I'm sick of this world....And i hate to think about it...
and i don't wanna ever worry about it...ever...EVER again
crying *update, my sister is stupid (the 15 not 12) she got her facts wrong
or maybe she was just making them up....idk..but my lil sister
just got home with my mom and she told me the whole story
to freaked to write it all...but basically...SHE"S SCARED TO DEATH!
SCREW ALL YOU CHILD MOLESTERS! SCREW YOU RAPISTS THAT
THINK IT"S OK TO DO THIS! YOU"VE RUINED MY SISTERS LIFE!*
