Vague title, I know, so let me explain. xd So, as some people may not know, I take karate and have a first-degree blackbelt in it. Today after my Krav Maga class and while I waited for my mother to come pick me up (which she didn't do until 20 minutes after class was over). I got bored so I looked for something to read, and there it was: an issue of a magazine called "Kono", a martial arts magazine for kids. It's a pretty cool little mag; it has some cool martial arts-related stuff and even some anime stuff in it, mostly Pokemon...
... oh my God, Firefox recognized Pokemon as an actual word. eek
Err, getting back on topic... I was look through and such, and I found a section with a brief review of Super Mario Galaxy. Like I said, it was brief, but it was good and seemed reliable as a decision-maker regarding the game. But here's the kicker: at the bottom of the page, there was a bubble that was directed toward people who are interested in sending in their reviews, possibly to get put into the magazine. HOLY S***! eek I CAN MAKE A NAME FOR MYSELF AS A VIDEOGAME REVIEWER NOW! HAPPY DAY!!!! mrgreen mrgreen mrgreen
Tomorrow I'm going to send an e-mail to the magazine asking for criteria the review should be based on: length, preferred ESRB rating, if the game has to have come out recently or not, etc. Depending on the answer I just might submit some reviews to them and see if they make it into an issue! So again, HUZZAH!!!! mrgreen mrgreen mrgreen mrgreen
