Alone in the dismal thoughts that plague my mind.
The blades are too close this time.
So close the cold steal is so inviting.
It would be so easy to break the skin without even trying.

Watching you drip from my veins.
And once again my heart is filled with shame.
All of this just for love and for you.
Why shed blood for another when they don't want you?

Feelings got a bit out of hand.
So there's no way you could possibly understand.
After all the feelings don't go both ways.
Because of that there's no reason to care about what you say.

There's nothing but friendship here and even that is growing weary.
Slowly fading till there will be nothing left to be disappearing.
So to forget what never was the blood must flow.
Each drop making the memories and feelings for you go.

One last drop hits the floor and your face is no longer haunting.
The hearing fades and your famous words "Just friends" are no longer taunting.
The world goes black as darkness starts to creep.
Finally, I have forgotten how I felt thanks to this eternal sleep.
