A rose may whither and may fade.
But in my world you have it made.
Thought a river may flow and soon may dry.
A love like this could never be a lie.
It's hard to express over time and space.
But still it's there, it's your own special place.
I know it's not the best love a person can have.
But it will stick with through the good times and the bad.
I may not be perfect and I may not be able to touch you with my hand,
But I pray that my love can touch you where my hand can't.
Because the truth remains that I do love you for you are and who you're not.
I love you with my heart, my soul and everything I've got.
Like I said it may not be the best, but it won't fade like a real rose will.
So instead of reality I give you my imaginary rose, that only fades if my love will.
And it won't.
