Heart of a stormcloud
Breath of the mist
What was I, but alone?
Someone with tears in their eyes
Each time your name came to my mind

Voice of clear water
Eyes of liquid fire
What was I, but destroyed?
Someone with a heart torn in two
Each time I saw you walking in the distance

I wanted my feelings to be known
I wanted to cry out in my pain

But what am I, but human?
Someday this rain will stop
Someday the sun will shine...

One day, perhaps
I will cry out in my lonliness
And one day,
perhaps you might hear me

Perhaps you'd heed my call

But what can I do until then?
All I can do is walk
Lost in this helpless, agonizing daze
This bittersweet dream

One day the sun will shine for me

Take my outstretched hand this night
Sing the song of the stormcloud
Take my hand and whirl with me
Let us dance in the squall with thunder as our guide

My heart
It soars when you speak my name
My feet
Led in this dance guided by lightning's spark
