As a follow up to my rant about Yugioh being so expensive, I should say that I'm over the whole too expensive thing. I've managed to acquire all the the good cards (well, most) without spending a fortune. I guess its just about staying in contact with the trading community and making a few sacrifices.
I've managed 3 Judgment Dragon, 3 Dark Armed Dragon, 2 Crush Card Virus, and some other stuff.
I'm really kicking myself, because I had the chance to get the new money card, Heraklinos, last October when it was relatively cheap. I was debating getting one or two then because I wanted to make a Gladiator beast deck. Back then, glad beast were pretty sad. They weren't really competitive, and eventually I gave up on the deck and got a bunch of counter fairy stuff that I traded away ultimately. For what I paid for the counter fairy crap (not a lot) I could've had a playset of Heraklinos. And get this: in the last few weeks, Herk has ballooned in price by 700%! Can you believe that?! I wish I weren't so scatter brained. Had I focused on glad beast and not switched to counter fairy, I would have made $500 or more without lifting a finger. Funny thing, Yugioh is. It'll take a lot to convince people to surrender their Herks, and by then glad beast won't be as good. Still, having the backbone for a variety of decks is a good thing. It lets you change up when you feel like it and still have a competitive chance. In the weeks to come, I hope I can at least start to pester people or identify people with Herks. You accomplish nothing if you don't try, right?
Right.
Yuki, signing off.

I don't keep a real journal, so this is where I record my thoughts. Some of it is pretty odd sounding, so read at your own risk :P
